Possible to get font files of organization's shared fonts?

Is there any possibility to obtain font files of organization’s shared fonts via plugin API? Is there any plans to provide such feature?

This would be useful for a plugin that converts design to project files that can be run in a preview application. This viewer app would run as WASM and have in-memory sandbox file system where we would need to have those font files available.
