I am trying to import Figma design into Android Studio for application development. I tried to import a Figma component URL and it succeeded in importing but soon met with the following error below. A screenshot shows successful import of figma components preview from URL before the error below occurs. Hello all, Trying to find all comments on a page using the Rest API, but there does not seem to be any filter to find comments via page/canvas, but only for the entire file. I looked at the Rest API response to see if anything (maybe client_meta answers it) but not seeing anything reliable there. Is there a simple way to: Option 1: Given a page/canvas, find all comments on it? Option 2: Given a comment, find the page it belongs to? Currently, I’m going Option 2, by using client_meta, and finding the page that element belongs to, and then linking it to the page, but that seems to be calling too many APIs. Also, is there any structure to the Node IDs? Not able to find any documentation. The IDs are of the format xxx:yyy. Thanks!

Hi! When I work, my laptop is connected to the network, but it says that I am working offline and the saves are not displayed and the Figma tabs do not open. How to fix it?

I managed to delete and write over a design file that I now need, but it was too far back in my version history to see it with the free plan, so I upgraded. But for some reason (even though I’ve restarted the program and made sure that the professional plan is active) it still won’t let me click them and it has a note underneath that says it’s only available for paying members. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have a variants or a navigations tabs. Tab left and Tab right. If tab left is active, it displays all the items on the left. If tab right is active, it displays all the items on the right. THe list that is used to display is a componect. I only changed the value of the list. Sadly On Navigation tabs switch on the Prototype end, the value will not update, the Navigation tab gets switched but the value remains the same.

Hi there folks! I’m facing some trouble with a component. We call this component “Action” and it consume another component called “Avatar”. The Action itself has 3 states: Default, Pressed and Disabled (the Avatar also has a Disabled state). Inside the action, we can customize the avatar using its variants (Icon, Monogram, Image) and when we switch the Action between Default/Pressed/Disabled state, the avatar doesn’t keep the customization. Is kinda confusing (and my english is not exactly good XD) so I recorded a video to demonstrate: I’m also sharing a file with those components. Figma file Note: The avatar structure is not the ideal, but there is a hole system and projects consuming it, so modifying this component is real hard. 😮‍💨 Hope you guys can help me on this one 😃

Hello everyone!! Pulling my hair out. I have a series of photos I want the user to choose from. The user clicks on the photo, and it cycles through photos. After that point in the user flow, all recurring instances display that photo. HOWEVER i want to disable the ability for the user to click on that photo to change it in any following instance. How do I do this?? Thank you so much to anyone who can answer!!! =D =D

Hi! I just built a more or less complex Header Component that is supposed to replace the old Header. I was quite sure that there is a way to just replace the old Header with the new one and keep the old ID so the reference to all the instances used will be kept. Hm…seems like it’s not as easy a task as I thought. Does anyone know how to replace the Master Comp without loosing the ID ? Thanks!

So I have this prototype where I’m supposed to click on a radio button to change it from unselected to selected, I made the animation but if I click on a button to select it, the second one is shown as also selected on another frame. I guess that violet square is showing me where I’m using the exact same button but it’s the first time I’ve seen this. Can someone tell me why it’s this happening? The right thing would be to select one button on the first frame, and to select another button on the second frame and so one, they shouldn’t be already selected on every frame 😦

Hello people! Something changed in the direct click-select (CTRL click here on Windows), so that Figma seems to be deciding somehow which levels of Frames are directly selectable or not. It happens only to Frames, and I couldn´t figure out the rule. This is making it really hard for me to manipulate deeper Frames, forcing me to select neighbors or contained items, or to use the keyboard and the “Layers” panel as I never had to. Is it a bug or something I will have to learn, notice, think, adapt and change all my working files? Thanks!

I am trying to create a table, but there seems to be an AI option attached to the parent frame that I can’t turn off. If I add another table row, it puts the new row above the first one. I checked the stacking order, but that doesn’t seem to do anything.

For some reason my Clip Content is only being applied when I move an element outside of the side perimeter of the phone frame but it won’t clip if I move the same element past the bottom of the screen/frame. See examples

I’m building a demo of some on-hover nav menus and tooltips. I’m able to setup a few, but after 3 or 4, “while hovering” becomes disabled for new interactions. I’m at a loss to explain this.

Can anybody please tell me what this icon means and how to change it back to a normal image.

Prior to the update I was able to change my cursor from a mouse to a circular touch cursor for my prototypes and now its seemingly gone after the update? Will that come back? I love this feature as I’m constantly creating prototypes for devices that aren’t available under the devices options.

To give some context, I have a design library with colors and elements. I work in other files for different designs. When I updated my library color to a new main color, I got the warning that my modules and colors had been changed. After I updated all of them, they all say that the new color has been selected, but I can see it’s the old color. When I choose another color in the library and back to the same color – it updates! But I have to now manually go into all of them and select my color, swap it to another one and then back again. How come it doesn’t actually update it as it said it did?
