I don’t like how there panels have gaps around them. It is not very helpful to access the vertical ruler. You have to move over the left panel to bring a ruler in. Go back to the panels that do not have gaps and please place the ruler on the right side of the panel.

I’m trying to find something that functions similar to cards in Miro. A “card” is more or less a box where you can type in a headline + details, set a color, set a due date and assign the card to someone on the team. When zoomed out, the headline is visible, along with the due date and the assignee’s avatar. There is also a button to click on the card to display the full text and card description. Does FigJam offer something similar?

When I get a link to a Figma file, I can see the name of the file, but I have no idea what team the file lives under. When I use the search function, only files show up, never teams. The only way I’ve been able to discover which team corresponds to a file is to open a file, look at the editing history for a designer’s name, then look at the name of the designer, search for that designer’s name, then see a list of what teams that designer is active in, then manually look through each team until I stumble upon the file within one of those teams. Is there something I’m missing? Why doesn’t Figma show what team a file lives under?

Whenever I export my document from Figma and open it into adobe acrobat it sows me some unwanted black borders and shadows how can I fix this?

I know that Figma made an Update but I was using only the work Figma for a while now and I saw that my Drafts had been moved to Drafts to move folder. So now I also logged in my personal Figma but all my drafts have dissapeared. They are not in recent or deleted or anything. Please help, all my work was there…

I cannot figure out the new boolean property. I can add the boolean property to the component set, but then I can’t select a layer to apply it to. I’m not sure if I’m just not seeing something or if this feature is broken for me. I also can’t find any help docs from Figma on this. If anyone could share some screenshots of how you use the new boolean feature, that would be much appreciated

hello guys, I need some help here. so, the problem is when I put the overlay tab prototype and testing to click the overlay tab the height of my website is still fix but the tab is going like this. What I want is to make this height is responsive when the tab expand. I try to find any tutorial related to this problem but I still have no clue to find any solution to fix this problem because I’m new to design and use figma. When I make changes to a component and I’m ready to publish, there are 2 options; Publish within {Project name} Publish with {Org name} I made a few tweaks and wanted to test out the component only within the team project so I published it within {Project name}, however, viewers of the {Project name} are still able to see the changes. I believe this is a bug and shouldn’t happen.

Hello Everyone, I have a few design resources I wanted to share with the Figma community, but something strange keeps happening. It says there’s no problem with the publishing process, but my resources just don’t appear, even when I search for them. I didn’t receive any error notifications, so I’m really confused about why this is happening. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions? Thank you.

When devs try to export this svg icon, it doesn’t show the fill of the books inside the square… To made the shape of the books, i made a “substract selection” on one of them, I duplicate de shape and flat all of them to made a vector shape. Thanks for your help 🙂

Hi, My educational plan is expiring in 2 weeks and I have a couple of files within a Team (i’m the owner of the team). Not sure, but apparently I’ll lose access to those? The notification email I’ve received specifically mentioned to “Duplicate or move files to your personal drafts to save them for later”, but I sincerely don’t see where the option is for moving files into the draft section.

When I run my prototype in preview or presentation mode on desktop it works perfectly fine. But I found that if using the prototype in Figma mirror or a mobile browser, states are not preserved when leaving and then returning to the frame. For example I have boolean variables that become true based on conditional logic, but if I were to leave the frame and then return to it the boolean variable goes back to being false. Another example is I have an interactive component of an input field, when I set it to filled and then leave and come back to the frame the field is empty again. Is state memorization in a prototype only supported on Figma desktop? Or is this a bug? Because of this issue I haven’t able to start usability testing.

I’m trying to write a plugin that is able to find the export settings (set by the user in the app) of a component in a team library when I pull an instance. I have created a nested component structure containing other components and one that is instance swapped. IE: <> Component A |_ <> Component Header B |_ <> Component Header Content A (Inst Swapped to Component Header Content B) If I copy that component structure around in my own local project spaces, it works as expected. Component Header Content B remains swapped in place as expected. However, some members on my team have had issues with this structure when copying it into their own local projects. It fails to maintain the connection to the instanced swapped component (Component Header Content B in the above example node structure) Instead it resets Component Header Content A to its original state (unswapped). Because Component Header Content B is not a local component in their project, they have no way to instance swap back to it from the menu either. The goal is to maintain the link so the main component remains in my local project. However, others have had no

I have a big file with a lot of images. I often need to export these images in bulk, but the only way to do that is to zoom in on like 3 images at a time so they are loaded by Figma properly and then hit Export while they are still in view. I don’t understand why doesn’t Figma load the images properly automatically before export. What’s funny this has gotten worse since I moved to a more powerful laptop. Images used to stay loaded while I’m in the same page of a file, now everything unloads as soon as I zoom out.

hello. I’ve run out of free space on the board in FigJam, FigJam just doesn’t let me scroll the board either left or right, up or down. is the board in FigJam not infinite? the elements are simply cut off and that’s it.

How do I make the Icon component, that is nested in the button component, color not adjustable? In the Button disabled mode the icon needs to be in a grey color, but the original color of the icon component is being implemented when I swap the icon variant. Is there a way that the color that I’ve defined in the button component will be saved even when I’m swapping the icon variant? Or do I need to create a variant of all the icon options for the Button component?

Hello, I signed up with Figma and ONLY purchased 1 FigJam seat last month. This means my monthly invoice should be approximately $7 CAD. This month, I was shocked to see that I was being charged $28 CAD because of the addition of a Design seat. I did NOT authorize this change. I was NOT notified of this change prior to billing. I contacted the customer support team (ticket #1009238) on May 24 and have not received a response yet. Please advise on what next steps I can follow to have this problem resolved and a refund issued.

I want to share it, but when I copy the link and send it to someone, it says they need to register or log in. Why is it set to everyone with access privileges?I want to be able to view it even if users do not have an account. I’m in trouble. help me

I am facing in the same design that I made on a normal account and on an Enterprise account. For the same Frame I can get the Image URL from the Normal Account but cannot get the Image URL for the same Frame from the Enterprise account. Thought I can use files API on both the accounts. I am using 0auth for the Token.

Hello! I’m having a problem when I’m trying to apply Boolean operations to a shape that is made up of shapes with different corner radius. After applying Boolean operations, the radius become the same. Is this a Figma bug or am I doing something wrong? Two people in my organization need Figma Professional licenses in order to create wireframes / mockups. We have many others in the organization who need to see those and play around in them, but they do not need to be able to create them on their own. Are we okay if the two creators get Figma Professional licenses, and the rest just have free licenses?

Looked for an existing answer but no luck! I have an existing Figma doc w/ master components which contain instances of other master components. For various reasons, I no longer have access to the doc that contains those masters. I’d like to re-create those masters from the instances I have. Detaching the instance and then making it a master does not duplicate the original variants (which is why it’s called an instance - duh!). But setting each instance to all its variations, copying them, making them masters and then combining them into a master with variants is a HUGE amount of work. Anyone ever find a shortcut to this?
