I want to make masking group with an outline object below an instance of a frame with gradient fill in it. If i try to put them in a masking group, nothing happens, they don’t form any masking group. And it doesn’t reflect on the canvas also.

Could you please verify if you have enabled “clip content” on your instance when masking it? If so, kindly attempt to disable it to see if you are able to mask it.
