Whenever I duplicate a page, the main components link to the previous page. I feel like if i duplicate the page the main components should link to the new duplicate page. Kind of hard to explain, but does anyone know or have run into this issue?

Hi: I have created an accordion component with an image fill inside the dropdown. I insert an instance of the component I replace the image fill of the frame inside the component I close the file Upon reopening the file, the image fill has reverted back to the component fill. Here is a video that walks through the sequence. Any ideas what is happening?

Holding down the Z-key should persist the MAGNIFYING GLASS ICON, to keep it showing (in place of the mouse-cursor ARROW icon) but it doesn’t. Instead, the MAGNIFYING GLASS ICON vanishes, and is replaced by the cursor-ARROW icon. But clicking continues to invoke ZOOMING. Please fix.

I was using the draft and suddenly it disappeared. It is not in the deleted drafts nor has it been moved to another project.

zooming based on a user’s drag-to-set-zoom area, ought to account for presence/absence of left/right “tool pallets”. currently, click-and-drag to draw the zoom-rectangle doesn’t account for the left/right tool pallets, so 25% of the zoom is obscured by your UI.tx.

This is a frustrating issue for me. When I design objects in Figma, I have multiple frames, and I move 1 object from 1 frame to the other, the object doesn’t get inside the new frame. Sometimes when I paste images from the web into a Figma frame, the image doesn’t get inside the frame’s layer, instead, it stays at the top on the layers panel. For that, when I try to export the frame, the objects inside often don’t show, and I have to manually resort the object to be inside the frame, which is both frustrating and time-consuming. Is there any way to do it automatically?

Ability to edit a the cloud based document on more devices feels essential. Is Android in the roadmap?

I changed my text style in my typography variable and it broke all components that have text in them. When clicking into the component it updates and the text goes back to normal. Is there a fix to this? Every time I open the file back up the components go back to being broken. Thanks in advance

So, if i select a component and hit Esc or click out of the frame, sometimes the purple border remains. This bug is happening several times, and i’m not sure if there’s a setting to prevent this from happening. Maybe it has something to do with multi-select action, idk…

Hello! I’m facing an issue with changing images in a carousel component in Figma. The main component has four different variables, each with placeholder images. When I try to update these images in the component instance, only the image corresponding to the active property gets updated, while the other images remain the same as in the original main component. For example, if I’m on Image 1 in the property, only Image 1 updates to the new image, but Images 2-4 stay the same as in the main component. If I switch to Image 2, only Image 2 updates, and Images 1, 3, and 4 revert to the main component’s placeholders. Any insights on resolving this would be much appreciated!

Hi 🙂 Objective: I have a PNG texture file with some black dots and a transparent background. I want to use this texture as a mask to cut out and make the black dots transparent on a text layer. Current Issue: When I apply the mask, it’s cutting out the transparent areas of the texture and applying those to the text layer, which is the opposite of what I want. Desired Outcome: I want the black dots from the texture to be cut out (made transparent) on the text layer, leaving the rest of the text layer intact. I’m not sure if I’m missing something but I can’t find an “invert mask” option. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve created an advanced prototype, using variables, and conditions, it has quite a programming behind and all works perfectly. But the moment I add a hover state to buttons, to make them prettier, everything breaks after a few clicks, I get the hover states on buttons like stuck, they get the color while hovering and when I take the mouse off to another part it reminds this way, and then the same with other and I end up with lots of buttons colored like they were being hovered. Did this happen to someone? I quit trying, I just took the hover animation off and just use the buttons flat… quite boring but I need it more to work than to be pretty… sad I can’t have both

I try to open this file first on the desktop version, then download the app, but the same endless download happens. Already tried logging in from different accounts, reinstalled the app 2 times. Hi, I’m having trouble exporting vectors with fill as image titled. The issue is that on the canvas i see the right size of the titling but when i export it as svg the tiling appears to change size

Hello Everyone, idk why but for some icons when I try to unify the vectors it break the icon like some part of the icon disappears idk why Here is the icon before unifying vectors inside it Here is the icon after unifying the vectors inside it to form a single shape As you can see it completely changes the icon. Idk why this happens but this happens for a lot of icons but not all icons.

I have a button component with a nested icon placeholder component. The icon placeholder component allows instance swap of the icon and also allows resizing of the icon. Icon placeholder component & properties: Icon placeholder component layer structure: Button component with nested icon placeholder component & properties: The instance swap of the icon for another icon works and preserves the color properties across the different button states. The issue I’m running into is that the color properties break once I resize the icon. Icon color is not preserved between button states and it even breaks the icon size preservation between button states. Even returning the icon size back to the default doesn’t restore the color properties. The only way to restore the color properties is to “reset the component”. I have tried the union the nested icon tip outlined HERE but it’s messing with the auto layout of the button as it causes auto layout to ignore the icon component frame and u

Hey everyone, We are translating our app into 40 languages, so we have 40 pages created via our Localization plugin. I know that there’s no way to save all pages at once in Figma (only one-by-one). Copying all pages into frames of one page is not an option because it’s 40 pages and it takes time when you have many projects at once. Does anyone know a plugin that can help to export all pages at once? I searched everywhere but couldn’t find anything. Or maybe do you have another idea/solution? Thanks!

Pessoal, não manjo nada de Figma e estou tentando aprender. O Figma não esta mostrando uma fonte “simples” a webdings e eu precisava usar o símbolo check dessa fonte nos meus projetos… o cliente usa muito e em muito texto, o que eu acho que ficaria inviável ficar colocando 1 por 1 como elemento em cada texto que precisa. Alguém tem alguma solução?

Hi community! I’ve been having this issue for almost a week now and can’t resolve it, I’ve watched many tutorials in case I find the answer but I haven’t. This is the original component and has a text property to be edited directly in its instances I used instances in this card this card is placed on top of the page and when I click “I’m in” or any other button, it moves to a section that appears containing other similar cards and they are supposed to appear there keeping the same boxes checked as the one I checked on the main card on top of the screen before sending it to the button section. I’ve created separate boolean variables, one for each bullet, false by default to match the unchecked box. and applied the variables accordingly in the instances on the card as you see on top, in the “checked” property. But when I check any bullet on the main card in prototype mode it resets the text property to the component’s default. (Just in case I went to the instance’s layer and double-c
