Hello, I have forwarded a domain URL to my Figma prototype link. However for some reason it removes the part of the prototype link which hides the Figma UI. It keeps other settings such as “Hide Hotspots”. Anyone else had this issue? Thanks, Sarah

Is it possible that there will be the qbility to design in Figma like in the web or the pc app but on mobile.

Hi, How do I export an image without any padding? When I export this: Which has no visible padding, I get an export of with padding around all sides - I need this to sit directly on top of another component without padding. Thanks!

I have a multi-branded design system and updated the variable structure but it hasn’t followed through on my designs. I now have ‘used’ collections showing at a page level and it’s really frustrating as I can’t target or find where these variables are applied. This Is creating a really bad experience for my client. Hey all. I was wondering is it possible to use min and max width/height of an component and use it for trigger to change a variant. For example: I have a proerty Size, and I have a component with 3 sizes. I want whaen I use the component when resizing it to automatically switch to 1 of the 3 sizes using height/width as a trigger. Is this possible.

In case we provide code during oauth2 so that we can interact with rest api, we can get an access token and its fine. When we want to refresh this token, endpoint replies with 400 telling that code is missing although I don’t see it being expected in authorization params. Any help is appreciated.

I’m new to Figma and have been doing a ton of experimentation and testing to get a feel for it and I noticed something very peculiar when trying to create an infinite carousel. I created 5 square frames in a line and was able to switch to them via “on drag > navigate to > push”. I was able to build a working infinite carousel this way. I then grouped those frames together as a component set, so now they are all variants, and still… it worked as intended. But something I found interesting, was that if I created the variants first, WITHOUT the “on drag > change to > push” settings already established, it would not allow me to add those settings after the fact. The only option for changing would be “smart animate.” Why is this?

I am an interaction designer and I primarily use Figma as my design tool. Recently, I’ve encountered an issue where the Figma resource function fails to retrieve all results. For instance, after adding the Material Design icon Library to Design File A, searching for “Arrow” in the Library’s Assets section yields over 100 relevant results. However, searching in the resource section of Design File A only shows 10 results, which is quite perplexing. The Material Design icon has already been published.

I’ve been watching a lot of tutorials to fully grasp Fill / Hug / Fixed for cards and multiple elements in one group. When I’m building the elements separately, they seem to behave find and responsive as I’ve intended, however they start breaking down as the group gets bigger, and I’m sure I’m setting something wrong… just don’t know exactly what For example, in this Figma file there’s a card design I’m struggling with. I want to achieve what’s on the “mobile design” frame without adjusting anything but simply shrinking the container down, but I can never seem to be able to achieve it 😦 Please help me and let me know what I’m doing wrong!

Hey all, My team have been using the Figma API to retrieve Library Analytics - Mainly the ‘GET usages analytics’ (https://www.figma.com/developers/api#get-library-analytics-usages). For context, we are looking to get data/analytics on what components a team has used. For example: Team A is using Component X and Y Team B is using Component Z Are we currently able to get this data? Would like to confirm if this is something that the Figma API will allow us to retrieve. Thanks!

I have two different color libraries that I’m distributing within our design system library. Is there a way to manage the order of libraries? One is more important and is our main design system; the other is pulling from mapping tools and not within our system and I’d love the primary design system color library to appear first. I’ve tried a few things—changing alpha naming, turning styles on and off in varying orders—but nothing has worked.

The libraries panel includes design tokens followed by color styles. However, I want to have color styles appear at the top. Could someone provide guidance on how to rearrange the order of design tokens and color styles?

Any suggestions, link to tutorials how to add show more link/button for truncated text (like in image). How does it fits in the auto layout?

As you can see I can select the component, and move it with the x / y input, but I don’t get a selection highlight and grab it with my mouse. can’t double click into the component either. It was working fine yesterday so I’m not sure what the issue is. figma file

I have 360 variants (120 x 3 Sizes S, M, L) in my button component. There is an instance of the badge component in each of them. Now, I want to select only the badge instances in the size M. I managed to select all M size variants. But how to select the instances “badge” within?

I have created UI version of the page for client. I have autolayouts and the whole design system is in place. I cannot connect logos to URL links. I tried cmd K (I have MAC). but nothing works. I have a “link” icon visible only on texts. Can you help me? Cheers, Asia

I am developing an ERP System with many interconnected components, causing the editing process to be very slow. Even the prototype is too slow, and I keep running into memory issues. I thought about separating everything into different files, but with over 20 modules, dividing them into 2-3 files each would become very messy. Will the paid version provide any additional resources or benefits for this issue?

I must be missing something obvious. I have created a triangle (using polygon tool) and it’s not centered in its frame. I cannot find which setting to use to center it and it’s messing up my auto-layouts… In the image above I would like it to be vertically centered instead of laying on the bottom border of the frame.

Suppose the Figma project admin (the designer) shared access to her project with three people (the project customer, the developer, and the business consultant). In that case, if the developer wants dev mode, can the designer only buy the dev mode seat for him without buying the dev mode seat for all the people she shared access to the project with? I mean, 12$ is better than 48$/month, isn’t it? Thanks!
