Hi! Any body knows how can we see history about deleted files? We wrote message to support centre, and waiting info from support. Please provide information on the account history, specifically regarding the deletion of design mockups either by the service or by the user, along with the associated IP addresses. The design mockups have disappeared from the account admin@esello and may now be unlawfully used on the website 🏁. An investigation has been initiated. Please provide detailed information on the disappearance of the mockups and the IP addresses involved in the deletion process.

I’m using mac, desktop app, ui3. If I make 2 or more of any shape, then group them, and set the blende mode of color in selection colors, it doesn’t apply and group unselected. It’s inconvenient because the batch blends aren’t set up in my work environment! Somebody help me!

There are workarounds to change the pivot point of an object, by creating a separate object that works as the rotation point and attach that to the real object you want to rotate. But why can any object have a changeable pivot point?

It was working, now isn’t…making it hard to progress this workflow chart… Normally when you click on the “square” it gives you a set of dots around it to automatically create teh next item in the flow…randomly those dots seem to stop working, and closing the app and starting again does not seem to bring it back. Any clues?

Is there documentation on how to drag and resize the plugin UI window, like Figma Tokens does it?

I created a pretty awesome ( I think) numerical input field component. I used a variable IN THIS KIT FILE to identify the text value, “numerical-input-value/value.” So the condition says IF the variable is zero, the up icon increases by 1. The down icon decreases the set variable by 1 until it hits zero, then stops. I added keyboard commands too! That part is kinda stellar for my needs. I love how that worked. But, that is a one trick pony. With this method, the values on EVERY component instance will update together since the variable value is set at the component level. What I would like to figure out… Is if it is possible to do something where the variable value can be set AT THE INSTANCE level. So if I were to place an instance of the component in another file, I would like to be able to change the variable to a local variable…and not have it dependent upon the component. I THINK what I want is to define the variable at the instance level and have it update the conditional statemen

I’m creating a portfolio site and importing Figma prototype links into the modals of related projects. However, a border is appearing because of the following code: .prototype--viewerContainer--8C5YF { margin: calc(12px + var(--toolbar-height)) 48px; height: calc(100% -(12px + var(--toolbar-height))* 2); } If I could set this to margin: 0; and height: 100%;, the issue would be resolved. However, the iframe cannot be manipulated externally. I would appreciate any solutions to this problem.

Hi team, I’m desperate to create an image effect that looks similar to the following image: Whilst I’ve seen many help articles and video that show how you can crop an image to a shape and how to include an image in a shape, the representation in the above link only crops the image in certain sections. Hello, nice to meet the community! I need some starter instructions for building a plugin for exporting componentSets to custom JS/CSS with automation. Proper way of parsing nodes to html/css Since I couldn’t found an function for this, do i have to traverse the nodes’ tree manually for desired output; or setup a node project reprocessing JSON file got from figma REST API? Does anyone know any existing open projects could show one or two things for parsing nodes to html/css properly? Writing to local file with Figma API Is there a figma API that could directly write file to local machine? I mean text files such html/css. exportAsync seems only for svg/png/pdf. Browser API doesn’t seem to work, and copy from console.log is not quite a filnal solution 🙂 Thanks!

What is the reason for the policy and is there any plan to change that again?

Hey guys, Is anyone using Figma on a tablet? The problem is sitting on a chair for a few hours a day is starting to take its toll, so I’m thinking of getting a tablet, though I’ve never been a fan of so far. Did anyone try Figma on iPad or Android tablets? Does it woek nicely with fingers, or maybe with a pen? Thank you 🙂

Some people are getting the UI3 or Figma AI betas at this time and the waitlist quickly reached capacity and all available slots are now filled. I got early access to UI3 which is great for me since I love the new interface, and this change will roll out over the coming months. In addition, the old Figma UI2 is the previous Figma’s design language and system. Based on the information provides, you can send feedback to Figma by clicking the “?” and hit “Submit feedback” and fill out much details as best as you can.

Despite my verification, I am unable to activate my AI plugin and the profile keeps showing that I am in a Starter Plan despite applying for an educational plan. When I complete the upgrade plan an error pops up showing that my invoice cannot be fetched right now. Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue with user invitations in Figma. When I send an invitation to a user, they do not receive the email notification. However, if I invite them to access the workspace or team, they get access. The issue is that the user can view the content but isn’t listed under the members’ list, and they’re not able to collaborate effectively. Additionally, because the user isn’t listed as a member, they’re unable to link Figma with Jira for collaboration, which is causing significant workflow disruptions. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!

I really prefer the old Figma UI and would like to keep it. Is there any way to avoid updating to the new UI? Every time I get the pop-up saying “Update now or update on next launch,” I have to force quit Figma and hope it doesn’t appear again when I reopen the app, just so I can continue using the old (and better) UI.

Hello there! I am a designer and I’m trying to figure out how to best leave notes for my dev team when I make updates to designs marked “ready for dev”. It’s great that when you update the designs you can go into dev mode to see the changes. It also let’s you leave an optional note for what changed - perfect. I switched into dev mode though and cannot find the optional note left. Where would I find it in dev mode? Anyone know? I want to let my devs find the most important updates/what updated faster.

I would like to create an asset that has the same behavior as the ‘Examples’ in the Figma SDS. For many days I’ve tried to make endless auto-scrolling text Animation in Figma using after delay but it’s not working. After prototyping the text is still frozen. I have followed many videos available on YouTube and am still facing the same issue.

How to make a resizable tool tip or popover component, that have a caret in one side? I need to keep the caret at the same size and same position while resizing the content of the popover component. Once I enter this as a component to the library, it should be easy auto use and resize for the rest of the team. Any ideas or experienced tips on this are appreciated. Thanks
