Hello, i have a big problem ! When i’m changing my paragraph spacing in my text style, it doesn’t change my text… In my example, you can see i set the paragraph spacing to 91 (huge spacing) but i still have a kind of 20. It’s working for other properties. I’ve restart Figma but still have the issue. Please help me, thank you

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a Figma plugin simply named “Mockup.” However, when I search for it in the Figma plugin library, I only see plugins like “iMockup,” “Mockup Artboard,” etc., but not the one I need. Does anyone know if the “Mockup” plugin has been renamed, removed, or replaced? If it’s still available, could someone provide the exact name or a direct link to it? Any alternatives that offer similar functionality would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi everyone, I am working on a design and am using some templates for charts as well as googles material3 kit. I had quite some back and forth in finding the right colors. I built a color scheme with the Material Scheme Builder plugin. Now, I ended up with this list I only want and need the first “material-theme”. If I have nothing selected, “material-theme” is all I see. However, if I select something, the first thing I see is one of those libraries called “M3”. In “Assets”, “All libraries” is empty. “Your teams”, “Other teams” is empty. In Ui Kits there is the used google material file and two older files listed, which I have not used in this project. Please help me clean up this mess… thank you very much

In a recent release it was possible to create a component from children inside a main component. Your newly created component would then automatically get moved out of the parent component as it is not allowed to have nested main components inside other components. Looks like this freedom has been removed? Im using the Figma Desktop App version 124.3.1 for Mac

Hello, I’m totally new on Figma and all tutos and videos we see a long black tool bar on the top of the screen. And me I have just a little white tool bar in the down of the screen. I’m lost. (chatgpt said me “it’s maybe bcz you are in the “prototype zone” but I’m well in the “design zone” an it said to me to tap on “f11” but nothing changes for this tool bar”. (I would post a pic on this message but I don’t arrive to that)

I think i messed up by hitting some shortcut. Side panels are now detached from window wasting space and giving me headache when something is moving in that thin gap. Also left ruler is unusable. What did I do? How can i return it back? Thank you 🙂

Hi, I was wondering if there was an option to scale pictures while also maintaining the ratio within auto-layouts? Right now if I want to retain the ratio of 4:3 for example, I can’t resize the image. Is it possible in Figma without installing dedicated plug-ins? Is there any way to automate that without having to resize pictures manually? Thank you!

Hi all. I created some draft and want to use real data. I found plugin “Json to Figma” and managed to visualise the data from uploaded json file. I want to be able to update real data from json file programmatically and export pdf from updated draft using python. I have tried to find how to do this using API but without success. I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this and give me a working example of how to achieve this.

The top text is the Figma’s version of Poppins. The bottom text is the CORRECT version of Poppins. Even after downloading the Google version, it still shows the apostrophe being off. And other elements of the typeface are like this as well. There are other instances of this. My question is: WHY? And how do I fix this, its driving me nuts.

I created color variables in the file and used them. But then, when I came back to the file again, the variables were no longer visible within the library and the local variables menu. However, if I select objects with applied color variables, I see colors as variables. How is it possible to bring all variables back to the library and the local variables menu? The problem is the same both on the desktop and the web Figma. Cash deletion by Troubleshooting also didn’t help.

Hi everyone, I am trying to create an element in Glassmorphism Style for website interface, to make it easier, let’s say that it is a card, I use several properties together, which are opacity (for Fill), background blur, and drop shadow, and adjust them as in the picture 1. The problem is that all of this is applied well in the workspace as in the picture 2, but when moving to prototype view, all of this is disturbed and appears in this messed up form as shown in the picture 3. I tried to find the problem and by experimenting between the properties, I found that there is no problem with drop shadow effect, and it seems to me that the problem is between the background blur effect and the opacity. When activating the blur and with 100% or zero opacity, there is no problem, but of course we will not find the blur effect in both cases… We need the opacity to be at another percentage, such as from 1% to 10%, for example, and here the problem occurs when setting the opacity to any value

I have created a checkbox component like this: As you can see I have used “label” property to input text to be shown as a label and it’s default value is “Label”: When I use an instance of this component to do show/hide or enable/disable functionality using variables, the first time I click on the checkbox everything is fine… Initial screen First click screen However, once I do this again, the checkbox label resets to it’s default value “Label”. Also note that the button loses its label and gets the icon. Second click screen Can someone explain why this is happening? Thanks a lot!

Hey hey~ Is there any way to hide the toolbar in UI3? Either a setting or maybe a plugin? I do not understand why that toolbar needs such a prominent spot. I use shortcuts which makes this toolbar completely useless to me, yet it’s highly distracting and in the way of my work. Any help is appreciated~ ps: reverted back to the old UI on my work account, UI3 slows me down too much as of now.

Running in to a problem with our enterprise set up. Currently we have a 2 Design System libraries I would like to enable by default for all workspaces/teams/files. The files are set to ‘anyone with the link can view’; as these are live files that are linked to from our website; shared widely amongst stakeholders that aren’t necessarily designers… just viewers. The libraries are ‘Set as approved library’… but if i enable each library by default the file is nolonger viewable by the shared link. It reverts back to Enterprise only. Similarly, if i change the link settings on the library, I lose the enabled by default setting. Can we change this? Seems like a bug - to have one affect the other, when they’re completely different (view, vs library?).

Hi there. So I just got an Apple Watch and I thought I would try making my own image for it. I used the 44mm frame on Figma. However, when I export it the image is so blurry. Anyone has any ideas on how I can fix this?

Hello, I would like to ask how to modify an image in Figma so that one corner of the image is cut off, but the corners are smoothed out. It’s drawn very roughly, but I don’t know how else to explain it. 😕
