Adding images with original names

I haven’t tested but this setting might help. If it doesn’t there is no other way. You can only batch rename all layers and remove the numbers by matching them with regex.

Disabling “Rename duplicated layers” had no effect on the name of imported images. They still receives “1” as suffix. The real issue is when I have a series of numbered images, in which case it crates confusion by adding another number at the end, becoming something like “file-name 1 1.jpg”, “file-name 2 1.jpg” etc.

By placing multiple images into Figma, this problem can be prevented.
