I Publish my library, and everything works as intended, the toasts “assembling” and “publishing” appears, all is allright. After it finishes, simply nothing happens. Nothing got published, the publish button is still active, and the previous publish did nothing really.

My existing college account is set to be disabled this week and my Figma uses the same ID as well. Will my Figma account stop working then? How do I transfer my account to a new one?

When I pay for Figma Professional on a monthly basis, I know that every time an account with editorial rights is added, it will be charged on a monthly basis, but if it’s a professional account paid on an annual basis, does anyone know how it will be charged?

Hi! I’m having a problem with the state memorization. I want a component to keep the same state when re-opening the frame. I looked it up and in their article here it says ‘‘When you navigate back and forth between frames, objects re-open in their last set state.’’ (related article) But in my case, the state management only shows one option: ‘‘Reset scroll position’’. It doesn’t show ‘‘Reset component state’’ or other options. The article says to update to new state management via the update button, which doesn’t show for me. Also, I’m pretty sure I have the latest update installed. Can someone tell me what I have to do to use component states?

This is ridiculous. Can someone explain dashed stroke rendering logic in Figma to me? In the above image, I have 4 strokes of 20, 19, 18 and 17 pixels in length. My dashes are set to 1 PIXEL followed by 2 PIXEL gaps. There are no fractions ANYWHERE in this example, and yet, well you can see with pixel preview on, all sorts of stupid anti-aliasing is going on when there is absolutely no need. Am I missing something? Or should I submit some kind of bug / feature request (that will be ignored until Time Immemorial)?

Has anyone else been having trouble publishing their library lately? In the last week or so, every time I go to publish [a major change, not just a couple items], Figma either goes black or displays an error, and never actually publishes. I have to close my file, re-open it, and try publishing again with a smaller set of items. If I publish in batches, it doesn’t happen.

Showing me “hug” & “fit”, instead of actual dimensions, and requiring me to mouse-over your “hug” and “fit” displays in order to see actual pixel dimensions, like “36” & “24”, is inarguably counter-productive. please bring back previous “24 (hug)” displays for dimensions which does not require mouse-hovers. thx. *I am extremely new to Figma so any solutions would be best explained through a beginner’s lens I’m creating a template in Figma Slides and have added a click-through image carousel component to one of the slides. I want the images and caption in each frame to be customizable so our team can include the specific images they need to show to their client. However, if i change the caption on one frame, it appears to change on all frames. I’m able to change the image, however, without it affecting the other frames. The component was originally set up with the different “Add Image Here” variations, however I added the 1, 2, 3 and 4 to the end of the captions after creating the component. Do I need to add those variations to the captions prior to turning all into a component set in order for it to recognize them as different pieces? See my component setup below: Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is it possible to swap components with variables? For example, we have an icon library system, and I want to swap icons depending on the language and reign a user is in. Our team is big, so I don’t want to remake the icons as variants for swapping. Do you happen to know if this is possible?

I have created a wireframe for a website. But when I press “play” to see it, certain sections and text do not show up. Also, everything seems aligned to the right. What could be wrong? I tried selecting the frame and it still does it.

After I made changes to the main file, I want to update the changes to a branch. When I open the branch, I have to wait a few minutes for the “Update from Main File” menu to be enabled. Sometime it does enable at all. It would be helpful to let me select “Update from Main File” right away and Figma can check to see if there are anything changes.

I was wondering what happens to any data, projects etc created, shared by a person with a full, that is then changed to a restrcted viewver? What could break? What do you need to take into account? We have several users in our org that have a full seat assigned, that havent logged in for 60+ days. We want to free up seats, but need to understand the potential impact. Thank you

When sharing Figma prototypes or canvases on Google Meet, the screenshare freezes pretty much automatically. I’ve tried this in the Meet web app and PWA, also in the Figma desktop app and web app. Doesn’t seem to happen in Zoom, but we tend to use Meet by default. On MacOS Sonoma 14.5 and Figma 124.2.9 Anyone else having this problem recently/have a fix? Been going on for at least a month. I have found other topics but all a few months old and recommending upgrading to the latest version of Figma, which I seem to be on.

Is there an easier (non-copy/paste) way to open a Figma page in FigJam? It’s not a great hardship to copy and paste frames, but sometimes I feel it would be helpful to press a single button and have Figma auto push everything on a page (or selected items on a page) to FigJam for design review etc

Hi Figma Community, When I place a vector and later decide to delete it due to no longer needing it, the vector still appears in the preview. I’ve thoroughly checked all the layers to ensure it’s not hidden somewhere, but it remains visible. To fix this, I have to close Figma and reopen the file. After doing this, the vectors reappear, and I’m then able to delete them successfully. This glitch happens frequently, disrupting my workflow. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am using Figma links in some documentation. I want to know if someone can view the Figma file without logging in to Figma? Because sometime back it used to happen, now it doesn’t. Login step is a bit of hassle for some stakeholders who are viewing my documents. Can someone help me with that?

Hi all! Ive been searching for a plugin that can assist me with the following - we have a huge file with our components and screen designs where various icons have been used. However since the project was in different stages, progressed over time, etc. the icons sometimes differ in styling. My goal is to have them all brought in one file and see the mismatching ones to update them and for future have a defined icon library of this project. A couple of details: all of them are appropriate vector format - fx selection of all vector layers can be another way. all of them are linked to another Icon Library file - fx selection of all layers from X library can be a solution to the case too. This would be more manual work. Do you have an idea what could solve this case? Thank you!

I am currently creating components, and when I try to select an property using variant, two menus always appear. However, clicking on either of them is ineffective. Now I can only set the property by typing it in manually. Has anyone run into the same problem? p.s. I am using the web version, and this issue occurs on both Chrome and Edge browsers.

So now every time I need to multi-select during prototyping, I’ll have to switch to design mode in the new UI?

I am trying to make a new animation for a page inside Figma, and the whole screen just vanishes. It’s like it “crops” the whole screen size and I cant revert it back. The only way is closing the screen/prototype and opening it again. If I’m using the Figma app on Mac, I have to close it and reopen the whole app again so I can see the prototypes with the default screen size I created again. Can someone help me? It seems I can upload videos!

I cannot change the position of an absolutely positioned element (Part of a design system component). Any ideas on how to activate this panel?
