Is anyone else having 503 Temporary Outage errors when accessing their files? The status page shows green but we cannot reach anything

Hello. I’m working on a project for school and for some reason I can’t type or change a word in Figma. Can somebody please help me out! I really need this for school! Thank you!!!

An important file from my Drafts suddenly went missing. I have a Starter account and I heard there have been some changes for this type of account, but almost all my draft files are still there, only this specific one is missing and it is an important project. Can you please help me recover it?

Hello!! For the past couple of weeks my team & I have noticed the Figma updates changed and it seems like we can no longer cut/paste components AND retain the link, it makes you restore the component every time. So currently if I move a parent component that’s in 150 places, I have to manually update 150 spots. Anyone else? Should I open a ticket?

One last question before I stop spamming this site with new posts 😭 I’ve been slowly moving away from Google in favor of my own email system but I can’t find a way to swap my Figma email away from Gmail. Is changing it possible? If I could login via an email and password instead with a different email I would like to do that Thanks.

I recently started using FigJam. Once the board has been created, the actions most often performed are zooming in and zooming out and moving within the board. If you have a PC keyboard at hand, these actions are very easy to perform. However, I have found it a bit awkward to perform some of these actions when working with a whiteboard, without a PC near me. The whiteboard works as a large touch screen, so finger gestures (pinch) work to zoom in and zoom out. However, I did not find a convenient way to move (drag) the canvas: using two fingers for example as I do with the touchpad, the software does not seem to know whether I am dragging and moving the canvas or zooming it. It is true that I can use the ‘hand’ button in the toolbar, but it is inconvenient to switch from one tool to another. Do you have any suggestions for making it easy to drag the canvas?

Hi, Does anyone know how to get rid of those? I do not want any suggestion. I have never used the suggestions nor do i care to have it take room in my sidebar… Thank you

When i want to multiselect something to delete it, it is hide… But when i want to hide and click on eye to hide, hides only the layer i click on… one another cringe, fix it

We are trying to test new color combinations using Figma’s color blend mode: Color dodge and Overlay, but running into issues when implementing them on Android. What algorithm Figma uses to make the Color dodge and Overlay blend mode? Anyone knows how to implement them correctly on Android? Thanks!

When i create a component then set it’s constraints to bottom, left & right for example, and then create an instance of that component from the assets panel, the created instance doesn’t inherit the same constraints of it’s parent, it goes back to the default constraints which is top left, can someone help? 😀

Im trying to apply constraints to a main component, but sadly the instance doesn’t inherit. What am I doing wrong?

Hi all, I came across the fact that I have variables in a file that cannot be found via API, plugins or standard Figma functions. The problem is of global nature, as I am not the only one who has encountered it and I often see messages in the community from colleagues. Let’s get to the point, I created variables in another file or moved a component with them to a new file. After disabling or deleting the component with them, but they remain inside the new file, although nothing shows that they are connected or used inside the component or file. This is quite stressful and interferes with work. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? Because because of such “bugs” I don’t really want to use variables and even more so to pay for them, because they are very raw.

I have tried multiple times and different ways to share the prototype with my client so that they can view the design I’ve done, but it keeps asking them to login to a Figma account or create an account which is not what they are about to do. I am on a premium plan and mainly subscribed so that I can share this prototype with my clients. I am surprised that there is so much talk about this subject since I would have thought this is one of the main reasons for using Figma - so your client can view your work. I have searched this everywhere and none of those answers are relative or help with the problem. Please help. Thanks

Hi, I like to work with auto-layouts but i work with Figma newbies and sometimes when they work with components i’ve worked on, they get overwhelmed. Is there a quick way to remove every auto layout of all frames selected or contained in a frame ? Because it can be very tedious to remove them one by one.

I still haven’t received the latest Figma update, and I’m puzzled by this. Is there any setting I need to change, or is this something on the company’s end?

Hello everyone. I wanted to ask if any of you guys have experienced the same thing as me and what solutions you have found related to this issue. Briefly, I want to create a flow of an application in Figma and I have connected and set up interactions both between components and between pages as needed and everything works perfectly as I want. However, the next day when I opened Figma, some interactions were missing especially those related to overlays (although there were some that were not overlays also missing). At first I thought it was because the interactions I had connected earlier were not saved due to internet connection issues so I re-connected the missing interactions. But I encountered this problem not once or twice, but up to four times and all the missing interactions were located in the same place every time. I have tried several approaches such as ensuring that the internet connection is not lost, Figma files are saved before I close the application, clearing the browser

Hi all. I am new to Figma and need some help with a scrolling issue. I have adapted a site from existing files with a fixed menu on the left and a scrollable area on the right of my frame. I have main menu buttons which link to frames with drop down sub menus. The sub menus scroll vertically to anchor points within the frame and work as I need them to on a wide screen with a full width browser window. My issue is when I resize the browser window or view my prototype on a smaller screen (laptop) the main scrolling frame scrolls across to the left over the menu as opposed to just scrolling vertically. Is there something simple that I need to do to keep this frame fixed in it’s horizontal position. Thanks for any help

I have sent several support requests to Figma on their forms but have received no response or acknowledgement of my questions. Has anyone else encountered this? I have been charged for monthly FigJam seats when I pay annually and haven’t added any extra members. There is nowhere to find out what is going on.

We have been using Figma for almost 3 years, in our all organization we only have 3 designers and share files with all dev team, Only the Owner can see and change roles, this is already sneaky from Figma. Many viewers are constantly ending up as designers, cause somehow Figma makes it sneaky to convert viewers to full seats and admins can not monitor this as only owner has rights. So I had 3 full seats for our 3 people incharge or design, last year i ended up with 5 seats as sneaky Figma converted 2 more viewers. Now we are being hit with a bill of 8K and 12 full seats that we need to pay in advance and there is no way to cancell, correct, refund, this is crazy. It is unethical to convert viewers to editors at easy, charging 560 euros for 12 months in advance and not offering a clear way to cancel, correct, downgrade users, get refunded, etc. No phone line, support is slow and now all our work (files) are “kidnapped” My ticket is ticket [#1143353]

I need help guys to figure out how to get variable collections from a published library. I have created a few variables in a library file, and created a plugin to fetch these variable collections using a plugin in a different Figma file. So, first I am getting variable collections & variables using REST API Next, by iterating on the variable collections object here comes the problem I keep getting error ““MemPool/Node: cannot dereference nullptr” in countError (FGMemPool.cpp)” Keep in mind I used both id & subscribed_id but still doesn’t work Any ideas about this error?

Hello, my problem is this: When I install fonts and restart Figma, they don’t show up in the “Installed by you” tab, instead they are in the “All fonts” tab, making it difficult to find fonts. I use the desktop version and restarted the app after installing the fonts. The font extensions are .ttf and some .otf fonts

Hi! I am on a project right now where my team has a lot of mobile screens designed and we want to match all the texts to text variables. Is there any way to connect Text Variables to text fields that contain exactly the same text? A plugin or something? Example: Having a Text Variable “Log in”, Find all the “Log in” texts, and connect them to it.
