I worked well until yesterday, but when I woke up this morning, the file suddenly disappeared. I didn’t delete it, but a total of 2 team projects disappeared.

Is there any way I can find it?

Even though you’re sure you didn’t delete anything, could you do me a favor and just double-check the “Trash” in the file browser’s sidebar for every team you have access to?

This “Trash” acts like a storage area for all the files you once had access to that have been deleted. If someone else has deleted a file or project you could access, the files will appear there.


If your file is still nowhere to be found, please do let us know!

I will then proceed to create a support ticket for you so that we can give you the dedicated help needed to assist this issue.


For the support ticket, it would be helpful if you could prepare the URL(s) of the missing file(s). You might be able to retrieve the URL from:



  • Your web browser’s history.

  • Any previous conversations where you might have shared the file with colleagues.

  • The ‘File > Recently Closed’ menu if you’re using the desktop app.
