1. Describe the bug/issue you’re running into? Every time I’ll go to write a text with accents the application stop on this character with accent and start a loop, rewriting every caracter, I can’t continue to write the word. 2. Are you able to consistently reproduce it? If so what are the steps? Yes, write “línea” with the keyboards letters (l+'+i+n+e+a). As far as i know, this bug is only happening with this specific accent (acute). 3. Share a screenshot, recording, console log, link to the file, etc. Youtube link of the recording. 4. Is the issue only happening in desktop app or a specific browser , or both? Both. Only happening in FigJam. 5. What OS/version and/or browser/version are you using? macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 (23E224) | Figma Desktop App version 116.18.4

Hey everybody! Has anyone been able to access and use the AI Beta with a Starter (free) account? If not, are the AI features showing for you on a paid account? I see that Figma has AI Beta Features available, and I’ve reviewed their documentation for it. Unfortunately, the AI feature does not show in my toolbar. So, I am curious if I need to do something (beyond the settings to enable AI) to access it, or if I need to do something like upgrading my plan to get access to the AI Beta. Thank you!

I’ve lost access to a file while switching the accounts. Now tapping “send request” doesn’t help anyhow. There is no request in any of the two emails even though I have access to both of the accounts.

Hello, I know I can follow these steps to show the file version history sidebar: View a file’s version history – Figma Learn - Help Center And I know I can share a version using these steps: View a file’s version history – Figma Learn - Help Center However, when I follow these steps, there’s no Copy Link option for the Current version. At one level, that makes sense, since in the browser, the address bar contains a link to the current version. However, what I’m looking for is the current version such that it includes the current version-id. For example - https://www.figma.com/design/:fileId/FileDescrition?version-id=5662857941&node-id=1-3304&node-type=canvas&t=:anotherId By copying the address bar value, the version-id is not included. And if the design changes, then the URL that was copied from the browser address bar no longer reflects what I was looking at the time I earlier copied it. It’s amazing being able to use the apple pencil to sketch in FigJam on the ipad! But the text input doesn’t appear to support the scribble feature for the apple pencil. “Scribble” lets you write text into any text input with the apple pencil and have it convert handwriting to text. It works well in most applications I’ve tried, however not in FigJam. The worth of the feature is that you don’t have to switch from pencil input to typing just to enter a few words of text. This works in the UI, but not the canvas, btw.

UI2 seemed to have a better sense of what I wanted to click and grab, generally favoring Frames—making moving frames easy/intuitive. And if I wanted to select a deeply nested object of a frame—I hovered over and used Command+Click In UI3, it seems to only select the hovered object. Which makes targeting/selecting the parent frame very difficult and annoying at times (especially if there’s not much padding). Are people also seeing this? Can I restore the previous click/command+click logic? (Sorry if repost, but I searched quite a bit)

Hi, I’m working on Figma and it’s prolonged and unusual… It opens very slowly and takes a full 2-3 long minutes to go between PAGES or crashes. There is no change in the way I work. Deletes images and components or things that may be heavy… Just unusually slow. What to do? Has this happened to anyone else? 🙏

I want to use Figma for vscode but after logining in the loading keeps going on and the files or projects on my account are not displayed.

I have a file that is used as a library for many files and I don’t want to break the connected. I need to transfer the file ownership to me from a previous team member who has design edit access on my team account and created the Figma file. If someone is on my team and I am an admin is there a way I can transfer the ownership or with the original designer have to do so?

Is anyone else experiencing that Figma is acting very sluggish? Checking the memory, it’s not using that much and I don’t have very large files. It lags when I hold down spacebar and move around, it lags when going from one page to another, it lags when I perform various tasks such as export components to SVG. In general, it lags a lot.

Drag and drop to shuffle properties of components doesnt work with new UI. It work fine on old one.

Hi, does anyone know if I can change variable type from text to numeric? I’ve encountered an issue where if the font weight is defined in variables as text (e.g.: Bold, Semibold, …) dev mode doesn’t see if as a variable but rather a static value. For dev mode to work it needs to me set as a numeric value (e.g.: for Bold the value would be 700, …) I was wondering if I could somehow change the type of variable instead of doing it manually? Thank you!

Hi, When using Figma Dev mode to export a UI component to SwiftUI, such as few buttons in a box it export only the outer most container it don’t export the sub buttons for example, is it still in beta or need some settings adjustments ? Kind Regards

Hi, Recently my Figma app has troubles with detecting installed fonts on my Laptop. One time it shows only a part of them, the other time the list is empty (“No fonts found”). I’ve tried reinstalling Figma (with deinstalling all related files, cache and register), reinstalling fonts (also for all users as admin) and installing Font Installer (and tried using browser version). All of those actions only help until first computer restart. Recently I had the update of Figma’s UI and then I update my Windows from 10 to 11. I don’t know if this problem is linked to those events, but on Windows 10 I’ve never encountered such a thing. Does anyone know how could I fix it?

Are you a Figma expert? We need your help in Figma to complete our current Alpha WebApp prototype and then covert into a suitable server-side script and put up online to a selected audience for testing.

Initially, I could switch pages in my design draft with ease. About 4 months ago, I discovered it’s no longer so. Each page now has to load a while before I can access it and it’s annoying. Please bring back the ease with which users can switch between pages. Also in UI3, I find it annoying that assets take forever to load just so I can use a component I created. I should be able to access my file’s components easily without having to load the entire universe of assets. This delay is frustrating. Please do something about it.

In our enterprise account. When I open a prototype and try to share that prototype, I do not have an option to share it with Anyone with a link. I have other options available like share it with everyone in my organization or share with everyone in the team. I do not have this problem with my free personal account. There I have an option to “Share with anyone with this link”

I’m working on creating a simple and efficient typography design system. I’ve come up with some clever tricks to make it very effective. I started by defining some variables and then applied them to a single Text Style. This allowed me to easily adjust various aspects of the typography through the “Change variable mode” layer. This method avoids the clutter of numerous Text Styles and eliminates unnecessary details, making it easier for designers to navigate through the font family and size options. would love some feedback

The new Config brought us a lot of news, but nothing regarding changes and improvements in variables. I just got access to UI3 and variables seem untouched, besides few UI things here and there. I remember at Config23 there were talks about a lot of “what’s next feature” (https://youtu.be/M0NU5QFLCl4?t=2500) which were promising, but haven’t been shipped fully (e.g. % in line-height values aren’t available, for some reason, or extended collection, which I still haven’t seen). Is there a roadmap of improvement? Or are you planning to deleting them altogether? We have a design system that heavily relies on Variables, as they’re quicker to setup and make our components lighter, but we need to know if you plan to advance the feature. Thanks.

Hi! I am currently unable to move images which are in “crop”-mode. I can still change the image to ‘fill’ or other options, and I can also insert a new image into the frame, but I can’t move it using the left, right, up, or down arrow keys. I’ve tried it with different files and both in the app and online, and it doesn’t work anywhere. I’ve closed and reopened Figma, and restarted my Mac. Over night I received the new AI image update; maybe it’s related to that? Do you have any idea what else I could try or what might be causing this?
