I’m so thrilled about Figma slides; HOWEVER… i can’t seem to figure out how to turn my slide deck into a slide template that all my teammates can use. i’m referencing this article: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/24290529512471-Create-and-publish-custom-slide-deck-templates it says, " 1. Open the template you want to share. 2. Click Share in the right sidebar to open the Share modal. 3. Click Publish template. If the slide deck is in your drafts, you’ll be prompted to move it to a project." When I click “share”, I don’t see a “publish template” option. Is anyone else having this issue?

I simply want to delete the property “Label Size” on all my variants. I could do this by renaming the layers and removing “Label Size=Sm” but I have hundreds of variants and that would take forever… I can’t right click on the property anywhere.

Can the visual key (light-blue rectangle) of the hot spots from the prototype be turned off? If possible, how do you turn it off?

There used to be a radio button that you could click and it would take someone to the selection immediately after sharing the link. I recently updated my Figma and now the option is just gone.

Hi There… I can’t seem to find theg hyperlink option with the new Figma update.

Before today’s update, you would be able to select text within a comment and press cmd+K to paste a URL, turning the selected text into a hyperlink. As of today, looks like this feature no longer works - hitting cmd+K with the comments open just opens up the “Quick actions” pane. Looking at the Figma learn documentation, this shortcut is still listed so I’m assuming it might be a bug to fix.

My drop down menu keeps going behind other assets no matter what I do. I’ve searched through forums here, and no amount of restacking, or changing clipping has fixed it. I used one of those example pages and inserted it into the nav but even when I take it out of that section by itself it still goes behind all the other assets. Does anyone have any idea why this is?

Whole program has visual bugs. Am I the only one having these problems? Is there any information on when this will finally be fixed?

For the last week, component search has been returning no results across all of our team, and all of our files (whether using the desktop app, or web app). Steps: Open component search (Shift + I) Search for anything “No components” show in results (regardless of search) This does not impact the ability to manually click through folders in the component search panel, or Plugins search, or Widgets search, or Instance Swap search (these all work as expected). This is separate to the search issues we had a month ago with irrelevant results showing up. The search has been unreliable lately. Has anyone experienced something similar, or have a workaround? Thanks!

Hello, I paid for an annual plan but have been charged extra for the last three months. I didn’t sign up for anything new. I’ve been waiting since last week for a reply, but now my ticket shows an error saying the page can’t be found. Is anything working? Will I keep getting billed without notice and without getting answers?

Font from Google Fonts stopped working in cyrillic, although it had been working before. In latin it still works and is displayed. I used this font in the design, and when I opened Figma the next day, and clicked on the text with this font, it changed to the standard one.

I love your new advanced prototyping feature using variables and expressions. However, every time I present them to our squads, I’m often asked to go back one step. Because of the way they’re set up, I need to restart the prototype and go through the entire flow from the beginning to get to the correct step. It’d be really cool if the prototype could remember my chronological history and I could just press Back to go back a step.

Hello ~ I have a component that is a table row with properties. Within that row, I have a cell with a dropdown that also has associated properties. When I go to prototype, to make the dropdown cell change to a different property when clicked on, I get a menu for the table row properties, not the cell. Any suggestions on how to fix this??

Last week I created one Figma Deck template, and published it to the organization (Pro plan) that I am the Admin. Me and other members of the organization were able to access and use this template on personal team projects (free plan). As of today, this is not possible anymore, and now the template seems to only be accessible when I create a new slide deck inside the organization’s team. There is no way to pay every member of the organization a Full Seat so they can use the organizations templates, considering they will have one or two simple decks at most. Is this a bug? Is anyone experiencing the same issue?

This is a new problem – recently when I try scroll to the left on a FigJam on my Mac trackpad it triggers backspace, so am constantly accidentally exiting the board. Resorting to switching between the select and hand tool to navigate but the shortcut keys for them are difficult to reach on my keyboard (V and H). I’m on macOS Sonoma 14.2.1.

Since latest update to v124.3.3 whenever I use Figma (even with light files), my GPU usage is unusually high, it spikes up to 90%. It will come back down as soon as I switch to a different app (chrome for example) and go back up when I’m back on Figma. I never had this kind of GPU usage before the latest update. Has anyone else experienced this?

I added a gmail account to my google account but my google account had the domain @hotmail.com.br but now the main one is @gmail.com and I can’t change that, but my projects were at @hotmail.com .br and now I no longer have access. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it

I would like to offer an explainer video in a file. However, so far I’ve only seen that you can play videos in prototypes, but unfortunately not as a single video on a page. Is there a way to do this?

Hi there, I copied a frame from one project to another because I wanted to use it in the new project. However, the grid from the original project still seems to be linked to the frame in the new project. Even after removing the grid style, it appears to be somehow connected. I’ve tried the following steps: Removed the grid style from the frame. Detached any linked styles. Deleted and re-added the grid. Despite these attempts, the grid settings still seem to be tied to the original project. Has anyone encountered this issue before? How can I completely disconnect the grid from the original project so that it functions independently in the new project? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hello to everyone… i just study ux/ui. Today i started Figma and i began to cry. This tool bar… i have no good words (im sorry). Help me please with advices - how i can change position or back previous version? My eyes have to constantly go down. It also automatically forces my head down, which I would like to avoid. Also, this toolbar takes up workspace.

Any time I update a component (navigation, for example), and update in layout, it puts the bloody variant interactions I removed back without telling me I don’t want every prototype to have variant interactions on every screen. It distracts from (or even interferes with) specific tasks. If I kill a variant interaction, I want it to remain that way, amen ATM I have to go manually remove the things again every time I update a component. And it gets suuuuuuuppppeeeeerrr messy when I update components with instances nested in the component I removed the variant interaction from (ie, I update a button component, the button instance lives in the nav component, nav component now has to update > all my prototypes with nav components effed to death). Can you just not. Honour manual overrides, for the love of everloving spaghetti monster. At least if a manual override cocks something, I only have myself to blame.
