Hi everyone! In Figma, how to rotate an object for a full 360-degree cycle? For example, let’s say we have a “+” symbol that we want to rotate in a prototype. When we set the rotation from 0° to 360°, Figma interprets it as 0 degrees, resulting in no animation at all. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I created a looping animation component using smart animate that starts automatically after a delay of 1ms. It works just fine when I preview it in the Figma file. However, when I paste the same component into Figma Slides, the animation stops after one round when it’s supposed to loop back to the beginning. I’m thinking this is a bug since it works in the regular Figma project, but won’t work in Figma Slides. If you’ve run into this problem, how did you fix it?

Hi friends, I did search this topic. There was one other topic, but the learner had no replies, so I am hoping I can get some. I duplicated a frame in Figma to save myself some work, and now it won’t link. Is this a known issue? If I want linking do I have to make each frame from scratch? The text node and the rectangle with the image are children of the frame. The Image itself is larger than the visible part and the frame. I’m trying to export the image as follows: let settings = { format: “PNG”, suffix: ‘’, constraint: { type: “SCALE”, value: 1 }, contentsOnly: true }; let bytes = await rectangleNode.exportAsync(settings); As a result, both the Image and the text are exported. It turns out that the image is cropped to the Frame, but only the visible part of the Image is needed. how to export correctly?

I haven’t been able to use my Wacom tablet with Figma at all, because the Pan/Zoom option seems to not work correctly. Here’s a video of the behavior of this function in Figma, versus the expected behavior shown in Adobe Photoshop: Figma Wacom tablet bug It doesn’t allow me to pan vertically, and both the horizontal panning and the zooming are way too sensitive despite being set to the lowest possibly value. What surprises me the most is that there are a couple of similar messages in the forum asking about the same bug, but none of them received any answers.

Hello all! I’m trying to export an image from a Figma project to be used in Webflow… The image is actually a mask group (a person w/ no background and circle object to the right in the bg.) I was wondering if there was any way to only export the “visible” part of the image… The shape is a full circle but I only want the part of the circle that is shown in the frame… Hopefully this ? makes sense and any help would be appreciated! Hello, i saw somewhere someone create a toggle (boolean) to turn a property on or off e.g show icon or hide icon, and on toggling that boolean, another toggle would switch off. I was wondering if anyone has done this and where i can go to learn how to do it. It would be v helpful. Another example: I have two property boolean switches. One is to show/hide an orange pin. One is to show/hide a grey pin. I would never show both at the same time. How can i create a condition whereby if i decide to toggle and show the orange pin, it automatically switches the other boolean toggle and switches grey pin off?

Hi folks. Imagine there’s a Navigation drawer which opens in an overlay. Now you pick an item from the menu and it opens a dialog - obviously in another overlay. I see you have recently rolled out an update to have this button, allowing to bind a property or variable to selected layer: This is so much convenient to create either prop or variable from the same place. But I am wondering… Why don’t you do the same when click on this applied variable name? As you can see, it is still old menu and old modal, just allow binding or creating properties, why isn’t variable included? I still have to detach property before I can swap it to any variable. If the update is not ready, please tell us. Or just simply make the UI consistent everywhere in the app.

When mirroring a frame to the Figma App on either iPhone or iPad, it automatically fits the frame to the screen, but I desperately need it to stay the actual size. I’m designing for screens (ie: automotive) that aren’t the size of the tablet/device I’m mirroring them in and need to see a preview of what they’d look like in prod. This should be so simple to include as an update but for whatever reason it’s not available.

Everything is fine when viewed through a browser or the desktop version of the Figma, but it does not load in the mobile application. I checked on different accounts and the problem is in both… I also tried using a VPN, but the problem persisted. How to fix this problem?

Were users ever able to select multiple guides at once? Trying to move horizontal guides all at once to realign with something on the pasteboard. Currently the guides go across auto layout objects and objects on the pasteboard, if that makes any difference. Don’t know why it would do though. Just put it there to be thorough. But yeah, it should be a basic function. *Currently have the latest Figma 124.5.5 on Mackbook Pro 2019, 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7, MacOS Sequoia 15.1.

When text wraps to a new line either using auto layout or establishing a max-width, the container keeps extra space to the right based on the length of the word that wraps to the next line. Even when set to auto width, the container doesn’t hug the text completely. I’ve tried a variety or solutions but cant seem to get rid of the extra space.

Does anybody know what determines whether or not Dev Mode annotations show up in instances of a component? We maintain a design system that supplies many dozens of applications, so our components come with a large variety of features, not all of which are relevant to every product. We use Dev Mode annotations primarily for hand-off to our design system devs, so the annotations are relevant for the main component set, but will confuse a product-side dev. Vice versa, sometimes we do want an annotation to show up in every instance of a component, but it doesn’t. If this is an option that can be toggled, I haven’t found it.

I’m trying to link up colors to a new design system, but I can’t see the actual HEX value of the colors coming from the design system - only the values like 100, 200, 300, etc. It would be helpful to be able to see the actual HEX code in addition to the value so that I can correctly replace colors that aren’t linked to the design system.

Hi! I have a Dell UP2716D calibrated monitor, color profile 6500K. OS Windows 10. In Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator sRGB and Adobe RGB work correctly. In the browser, Chrome Figma also works correctly and shows sRGB. But in a desktop application, color management does not work. I turn on sRGB or Unmaneget in the settings, but there is no effect. The option to enable SRGB on the monitor is not suitable. Enhanced color gamut needed. When Figma starts supporting sRGB in a desktop Figma on Windows 10?

I’m looking for a way to dynamically (automatically) adjust component top/bottom padding based on what new component has been added to the top or bottom of that component. So for example, if I stack two different components together, create an autolayout, adjust the padding between them to be 0px since I’d be creating a webpage - I want the bottom padding of the top component to dynamically adjust AND the top padding in the bottom component to automatically update once the 0px in between autolayout is set. Any way to do this Figma? Any plugins that can help?

As of yesterday the bottom tool bar appears when a file is opened and then disappears. I have updated chrome, tried Firefox, tried hide and unhide UI, and hit cmd then /. All with no effect. Any one know the trick? Thanks
