I want to fix the header part, but for some reason I can’t select “Fix position when scrolling”. Please help if anyone knows what is going on. I’ve attached a screenshot of my figma screen. It’s in Japanese, but I’ve included a translation.

I want to know whether the user is pressing for example “command” currently or not. Can I know this within the Figma file? Not sure how else I would make my plugin as seamless as the rest of Figma. Thanks in advance for any help!

I’m experiencing a peculiar issue with my Figma design. The colors in my design appear differently on my desktop compared to when I view them on my mobile device. Specifically, the colors seem accurate and vibrant on mobile but appear washed out or incorrect on desktopess 🔍 at the upper right to search. laptop is - Asus tuf f15 144hz

I have version 124.7.4 and a professional plan. Why am I not seeing the new ui or AI features? I am reading that it’s in limited roll out, but what does that mean? Individually, regionally, based on your plan? I am confused. The whole reason I upgraded to professional plan was for these features.

I’ve recorded a Loom explaining this in full, but short version: For some reason when you duplicate pages in Figma that contain Components with Prototype links, it loses the links and you’ll need to relink your Prototype. The links become linked to “Ghost frames” that disappear when you change the link destination away from them If you Create a new page and then Copy and paste your elements, those links are retained This seems like a bug, given I’m assuming Duplicate should just be a quick way of Create New Page > Copy and Paste everything to that page

Hi, I am new to Figma, I have to install Figma via Microsoft Intune, the Windows version. If I run figmainstall.exe /? or /help it returns no parameters to allow for silent or unattended install. Does anyone here know if it is possible, we don’t want user interaction for the install. Thank you.

I’d like to know if it is possible to display two overlays - one that slides up from the bottom of the screen and another that slides down from the top of the screen with one tap on the screen. I have tried to do this and only one is showing at a time. I am not able to display two at once unless I create two hotspots, but I want both to be displayed by tapping on one hotspot.

Hi guys, I am working on a desktop app that is supposed to convert Figma designs into code directly. The problem I am with is about the SVG’s and how Figma works with them. When I use the API: “https://api.figma.com/v1/images/${fileKey}?ids=${svgIds}&format=svg” , Figma treats each path inside an SVG as an independent SVG with a path inside. This always starts when you copy an SVG into Figma, and it is represented as some vectors. This will make Figma export them as different vectors when it was supposed to be all part of one SVG. first image shows the svg. second image shows how Figma interprets the svg when i past it on the design

I am looking for advice for a workflow for setting up new project files using our base multibrand design system for websites. We are a digital agency who works with a new brand nearly every project, or work on projects that need to adhere to a brand we’ve set up for a project beforehand. We are developing an internal design system that we describe as the ‘bones’ of a website for every project we run, which we then customise for each brand (and sometimes project). So the underlying function and structure of our design system is mostly the same from project to project, but what changes are the visual things and metrics like colour, image assets such as patterns/photos/logos, typefaces, borders, padding, spacing, grid, etc. Our system is a set of core templates and components based on what we consider to be best practice for the web. I have a large file with hundreds of card variants for one component. I need to create variants of the cards that are prototyped carousels. I think the carousels need to be their own components but how do I add hundreds of components in another larger component and have them be variants? Can I prototype each Indvidual carousel variant? Hi Figma Community, I’m encountering an issue when sharing my Figma prototype with clients. While everything works perfectly in the Figma Mirror app—where only clickable elements trigger navigation—the behavior changes when I share the prototype link. In the shared link, tapping on non-clickable areas (such as the background or empty spaces) still causes the prototype to navigate to the next screen. I want the shared prototype to behave like the Mirror app, where only interactive elements trigger transitions and non-clickable areas are ignored. Does anyone have a solution to ensure the shared link works the same way as the Mirror app for a seamless client experience? Thanks for your help! anyone & @Davit_Nagashyan

Hello there. Shortly problem is that published variables are not available in the file where i enabled this library. Steps: Published a library with two color variables (and two color modes) Enabled library in empty project Made a rectangle and tried to apply a variable Results: On first iteration i was able to apply a variable on rectangle. When i’m trying to change it, it doesn’t show the second variable. On second iteration (the same steps) it went well and i don’t know why. I am able to switch between variables. On third iteration i’ve tried to publish big library with 238 variables. In project file 0 variables appeared. I have files from each iteration, so Figma support guys, you are welcome to investigate it.

Just recently I noticed that text in the variables window is blurry. If I move the window around, sometimes it glitches itself back to clear text. But most of the time I can’t get it to fix itself. I’ve tried logging out and back in, and even restarting my computer. This problem is persistent. In the first screenshot you can see the blurry variables window adjacent to other UI text, which is crystal clear. In the second one, you can see where I moved it a little and it partially repaired itself. I’ve searched but can’t find a solution for this. My setup: Desktop Figma app 124.6.5 2024 MacBook with Sequoia 15.2 External Dell U2715H display On my MacBook’s built-in display, it’s fine. The blurriness only happens when using the external display. And for reference, no other UI text in any other app on my system has this issue. I’d love help if anyone knows what might be causing it. Hello everyone, We are a team, new to Figma, coming from Sketch. We have a design system organized in 4 categories as follow : Foundation Components Layouts Pages In Sketch with the Forward slash naming methodology (/Components/Buttons/Primary/…) we had no problem separating our 4 categories listed above. Here in Figma when we import the library, all those categories items are mixed up at the same level : We thought to split the library into 2 files : 1 containing Foundation and Components and the other containing Layouts and Pages Is there a way to make that appear cleaner ? How did you do it for your own design system ?

Hello, I’ve made some prototypes and have embedded them into my SharePoint site. I’ve been able to hide the Figma UI (white bar below) and the border, but I can’t figure out how to hide the loading screen. Is it possible to hide the loading screen (blue loading bar and white screen) before the site shows the prototype? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I’m looking for a way to track how tokens are used on my design system components. For this, I would like to be able to have a tool where I can click on a token and see on what other token it is used, and what on what component it is used. Something like that for example: (for some reasons I can’t upload any picture to illustrate… so I will try like this) color.bue.500 —> color.background.primary —> (component) Button —> color.border.secondary —> (component) Button —> (component) Link Is there any software to help me do that? I have a Figma library (let us call this “A”) that is added to another library (let us call this “B”). In A, I have defined some variables, such as what colours to use when switching the design from light to dark mode. I have utilised the colours and tokens from A inside the designs in B and subsequently inside designs that use these from the B library. Variables in A ← B ← Designs But suddenly, I can no longer switch from/to dark mode using library B, although I can use the associated Tokens from within both B and its associated design files. Nothing happens when I switch from light to dark in either B or its related designs. But it all still works fine in A. I should mention that all files and libraries are up-to-date/exported, etc. Does anybody know why this could happen?

I’m running into an issue with a component that uses a slot. When I replace the slot content with an instance of a different component, the padding of the original slot component is preserved instead of inheriting the padding from the new component. I expected the replaced component to behave with its own padding settings, but it seems the slot’s container enforces its own padding. Is there a way to make the new component respect its own padding instead of inheriting it from the slot container? Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Community, I was super excited to see this feature in a YouTube video. I checked my admin settings and made sure that it was turned on, and I refreshed my browser multiple times. However, the AI button is not showing up in the toolbar. Does anybody know how to resolve the issue? Thank you so much for your attention and participation. Sun

There are different ways to get to one page and I connected the “Back” button back to one of the pages. But then when I try to do another “Back” function to another page from the same back icon, it wont show me the “On Tap” / Instant option. It only give me the “On Drag” option for this new connection. But I need all the back interactions to look the same. Why cant I do more than one back connection from the same button? I don’t understand. It is the simplest thing. Back buttons re supposed to go to the page before. For example, let’s say we are on a “Biography” page but you can get to that page fro 3 different places in the app. How do you assign 3 “On Tap” interactions to the same button. Why wont it allow me? Help please.
