Hello! The Spase Grotesque font does not work in my Figma desktop application. More precisely, it does not work in all of its styles. Two styles work correctly: medium and bold. Light and Regular are not displayed. When assigning these styles, the font switches to another. Please tell me how to fix this?

Hello, I’m trying to download Figma on my Mac apple silicon but it keeps popping this message : Blockquote This version of Figma is not intended for use on Apple Silicon. Please download Figma again from the Figma Downloads page to ensure that the correct version is installed. But I download the application on the download page?? How do I make sure I have the right version when there’s only one button for Mac?? Please help. Thank you.

I’m having problems with the variant behavior of a nested component. Essentially, any variant property change is adopted across all instances. I have nested a series of component instances within a separate component. And I want each nested instance to adopt a different component variant. Unfortunately, a change to one variant property is quickly adopted by all. Oddly, a boolean property to one is not adopted by all. How can I make it so that different nested instances can have different variant properties? Thank you for the help!

When I export our Design System with the Sync Github Tokens script it gives out a scope called “FONT_VARIATIONS”. But this is nowhere mentioned in the VariableScope Plugin API and therefore i cant import it again. Any clues about this? I made a button component with 2 variants : The icon in the button is a Fontawesome icon I wish to preserve color override in these buttons when I swap the instance but on swapping it sets the icon at default black colour I have found multiple topics on color override but they mainly deal with unionized vector icons but I need to keep them as font icons. I’m a bit stuck here and would love some suggestions. Thx

I have run into a bug / limitation on Boolean variables. I created a button component with an active and a disabled state. The property to switch between them is a true / false Boolean. I set a boolean variable #decementActive This is used in a layout with buttons, one that increments a count upward, and another that increments down. The boolean property is tied to the #decrmentActive variable for the button that decrements. It is set to false by default, meaning the decrement button is disabled state. When the user clicks the increment button, it sets #decrmentActive to true and the decrement button becomes active. So far, so good. If I convert this into a component, the boolean no longer works on this or any other button or anything else. Other assigned variables — color, numbers, strings — are fine. It strips booleans from the button and I cannot reattach them. Is this a bug? A limitation? Am I missing something?

I would like to enable both designers and developers to easily adjust and manage values like maxHeight. For instance, it would be ideal if we could define a variable for maxHeight that designers can modify directly in Figma, while developers can adjust it in the code — much like how CSS custom properties work. If anyone has suggestions or best practices for implementing flexible variables in Figma, I’d love to hear them!

Hi, Unfortunately i have updated the app version, and now can’t access is, because my macOS version does not support it. because of that, I am trying to work via my browser. there is a missing font alert popping. the thing is, that when i was working on the desktop app, on the same computer, the font was available, and on the browser it is not. i have no collaborators on this project, therefore there is no issue of older or newer versions of the font. I have checked the font book, and the font is installed and validated. on the font replacement window, it doesn’t recognize any of my “regular” fonts installed on my computer, but only google fonts. It is very frustrating not being able to work, not on the desktop app (because of version update problems), and not on the browser (because of font problems). any suggestions?

The Figma AI was there, but it has disappeared. Also, after the update, the plugins are not showing up in the toolbar.

Having a very frustrating issue in comments where I’ve been trying to paste this string into a comment: Cancel Button: register:back:button-text And no matter what I do, Figma automatically changes it to: Cancel Button: register🔙button-text Is there a way to disable the colon shortcut? I can’t login on IOS Ipad app anymore. It worked before but to login you need to login through the browser of course but when the browser opens to login i get the message as seen on the bottom of the post. There are no updates for any browsers or Figma, how do I fix this? I’ve already tried restarting and clearing the cache, any other ideas? The IOS version is 18.2 in case that helps

Hello guys. Please help me out on this Issue. While I am working on Figma, it automatically restarts the app as if it was force closed and again reloads itself to the project which I was working on. Its happening from last 2-3 days. I even cannot reproduce the procedure because it happens randomly at any time. It shuts down the app and opens up on its own again without even having to reopen the app. I tried reinstalling the app still facing the same issue. Please help me out with this issue. Thanks
