What these icons mean? All seems to be regular figma files and I though...maybe something with branches or published library. But most of these files never had any branch or the local components are not published (at least at this moment). Any thoughts? 

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone figured out how to use modes to switch icon sets. So let’s say I have Brand A and Brand B in my modes, and the colors and spacing change when I switch brands. Can I also somehow make the mode switch my icons? (in a way thats actually feasible to use over the long run). Like an edit button that has a pencil icon: both brands would have different pencil icons, both named exactly the same. And switching brands would swap one for the other.

Does anyone have suggestions?

So below are some screenshots of vectors I’m trying to get out of illustrator and into Figma, when I export to SVG from illustrator, then illustrator itself sometimes causes these weird artifacts, but for some reason copying the vector data to the clipboard and pasting that into figma usually does the job, not always unfortunatelyRight now this seems to happen constantly, these gaps may not seem that big a deal, but they become extremely obvious when put on a bright background, and when these vectors are scaled up, so are the gaps, making them even more noticeable.For now I can deal with this, but I’m eventually going to need a workaround for this issue, any ideas?  

I am an Android developer.During the transformation of the framework from sketch to pygma, we found that the sp/dp unit units can only be changed by 1/3, 3x.Our service requires 1/4 and 4 multiples of the development unit, so if this part is not resolved, there is an issue that the design team has to modify all the screens.There are two questions.1. Is there a plug-in to fix this?2. Can you add 1/4x and 4x sp/dp development unit multiple in Figma?I hope a good solution will be found.Thank you.

Hi, I created a set of icons that are used as instance swaps for an icon component. For now they are Bootstrap icons. All of them are flattened vectors and each is a component on it’s own. There is no auto layout inside the icon instances. I tried inplementing it and setting the size to fill, but that didn’t change anything. I then made variants of the icon component. If the icon is just outlined or filled, the color and the size. The size and the fill work perfectly but the size is giving me issues. The original size of all of the icons is 16x16px. Then I scaled the component to 36x36px and set that as the “L” variable. Most of the icons scale normally, but some icons just don’t want to scale. It’s always the same icons no matter if they are outlined or filled in. In the screenshot all variables are set the same for the two icons on the right, except for the icon instance. But the Graph icon retained it’s size while the circular icon defaulted back to it’s original 16x16px size.What c

I am able to make a connection, but when I try to play out the prototype it is not working. I am trying to make a back arrow that goes back to the homepage for each page of the app. How do I fix this? I attached an example of one of the pages with the back arrow.

Anyone knows how to remove these lines?Its not a ruler. Seems to be a fixed ruler inside a card (Not a component). 

Hi guys, I’m working on a file that I created months ago and suddenly today it stopped working properly. I work in polish and all the diactrical marks (ą, ę, ć etc.) in every place suddenly stopped rendering properly and are replaced by default font. I tried restarting both Figma and my PC (Win 11), reinstalling fonts and Figma but nothing helps for now. Any idea what’s going on and how to fix it? It’s quite an issue for me as I can’t generate proper graphics and suddenly I need to move back to Illustrator to get my work done…

Hi, I have been trying that cursor move(without clicks) makes video in background play/stop .Although I tried to apply mouse enter/move out in tiles covering whole space, but video keep playing once stop in a tile. It would be great to hear solutions. Blue tiles with mouse enter/move out interaction 

I’ve been playing around with calendar-style UI designs lately and wanted to bring in an iCal-inspired layout. I found this use ical template free resource, which is technically for CapCut, but I’m curious if anyone has tried adapting that kind of layout or style into a Figma design.I’m hitting a few snags trying to recreate the spacing and structure visually without it feeling cluttered. Has anyone here tackled a similar challenge or have tips on clean calendar grid design in Figma?Appreciate any input!

We are having a persistent issue where our files look all messed up after merging a branch. A branch is reviewed and approved. All looks fine. It gets merged, and then whatever was in that branch suddenly looks terrible in the Figma file it is merged into. The components and layers appear resized and cut off, which can only be fixed by temporarily resizing them then undo-ing that action. However even after trying that, sometimes it renders incorrectly again and looks like a big mess. Is anyone else having this issue? Is the Figma team looking into this bug already? Thanks!

Hello! I desperatly trying to find out, why the IOS Assets (or components) can not be seen in the Prototype but in the figma file. What am I doing wrong? Wether if I copy and paste the assets to the frame or inserting it, i dont see anything. Is there something to activate or something? Im am using a windows laptop, freshly updated, drivers are updated. It’s so frustrating. In Prototype Mode In Figma File

I believe I first created an account on Figma for [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII] about 2-3 years ago. Until recently I didn’t really use it, but now I urgently need it to start work on a client project that is quite time sensitive. However for some reason my account is not functioning properly and I cannot start any new projects. I keep getting the error: Limited access: To create new files, switch to a plan where you’re a full member. I went to my email to see if I could use the verification email from Figma I received in 2022 but this obviously wasn’t working anymore. I tried deleting the account so that I could recreate it with the same email but that didn’t work as I could not verify my password and I also cannot change my password as I don’t even remember it. So this basically means I”m logged into the account and cannot do anything. When I log into another account using my gmail [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII] it does seem to work normally.  Hi! we are trying to get the variables from our library. I have been able to get a variable information by passing the variable id. I can see that the name is available (color/globant/red/100) however, If I inspect a component, such as the button, I can see that under “Selection colors” the color name i just mentioned appears (ok), but I am missing the css variables that is visible under Style var(--color-accent-success-default).  Also, I don’t see the variable value anywhere on the console.log. I need to get the value (this is a must) and if possible the variable name as well. Under valuesByMode it appears: valuesByMode: Object 4281:0: a: 1 b: 0.95686274766922 g: 0.95686274766922 r: 0.9882352948188782 but this is not really what we want. We are using a hexa value. We would like to get the hexa value. Thanks in advance.
