Hi all, I’m currently trying to connect a webhook to our team’s MS teams channel via Microsoft power automate.  We have gotten the webhook to post LIBRARY_PUBLISH updates but as a results, we don’t get the entire list of Figma components that have been created/modified/deleted, etc. has anyone successfully gotten the webhook to post component names, excluding property names and values? Currently it requires 2 API calls to fetch the key and then the name itself. Thanks all! here’s an example of what’s posted:   

When I try to stretch the frame, other components are also stretched, as you can see in my screen shots. I only want to edit the frame. How can I do it?

Trying to override images so that the image zooms in on hover, but all it does is show the original image from the hover variant. Any ideas? Tks!!

Hello,I use several profiles on Figma, one dedicated to a work team, the other personal to work on files and make feedback.When the figma file has been opened with one of the two profiles, I can't find any way to swap profiles to leave comments or make changes with the right one.The only solution seems to be to disconnect the account you don't want to use? Which means reconnecting several times a day.Thanks in advance

How can you save a custom colour into the colour wheel so that you can reuse it without having to type it in over and over again each time you want to use it?

A designer makes designs with styles.I have edit rights at the file.I copy an element with (text) styles within.But I do not get the styles.I would like to get the whole design including the styles.Is the solution that my designer has the professional version.Or do I need to have the professional version as well?After the design is finished, is it possible and easy to return to the free version?For both of us, it is not our job, so we do not need the paid version for more projects.

I lost my Figma file, how to get it back, I have the link of that file but it is showing the source is deleted

I submitted my plugin (Figma to React | Figma) for review on Apr 6, 2025. On the window that popped up, it said it should be reviewed within 5-10 business days. However I did not receive an email nor get it approved, and it’s been 16 days. Would like to know how long I should expect to wait. Thanks!

Hey designers!I’m pretty new to both Figma and UI design, and I’ve been struggling a bit. Honestly, it’s hard to explain exactly what I’m stuck on—partly because I don’t even know what the terms are yet! But I’ve noticed that a lot of experienced designers use something called a design system, and it seems super helpful.One thing I’m really curious about is how to name color variables in a design system. For example, I often see things like Blue-50, Blue-100, and so on. What’s the logic behind that kind of naming? How does it work?I’ve watched a bunch of YouTube videos, and many of them recommend using plugins. But I’d really like to understand how to name them myself, the proper way.Is there a standard I should be following? Should I stick to the same naming style all the time? I’m creating a social media post card and I have a hover animation effect for the post interaction buttons. But when I hover over it in preview mode, the tooltips get cutoff by the layer below it despite it being on top with no *Clip content* selected.Anyone know why this is and how I get work my way around this?

Hi everyone,I'm trying to create an interactive dropdown component in Figma that uses variables and conditions to manage its behavior. Here's what I've done: I've built a dropdown component in my design system. All the variants are defined and values are passed through variables. The interactive prototype is built inside the component itself. I published the component and used it in the main project. I expected that by setting new variable values in the project, the prototype interactions would adapt accordingly. But in practice, it seems the component still follows the original interactions defined in the design system file — and my new values don’t reflect in the interactions.What I want is a flexible dropdown like the one in the attached image, where I can: Use it anywhere in the project Just change the variables to update the state For example: if more than two items are selected, show the number instead of tags I think I need to use conditions to handle the logic, but it

I’ve watched a ton of tutorials and looks up different articles, videos, etc. I can’t figure out how to get my animation to smart animate, not just dissolve. The file names are the exact same in the different layers. If anyone has any solution or advice, I would be very appreciative. Right now the trigger is on click as I try to figure out a solution. how do i figure out what varirants are conflicting and how to fix it? It has to be one of the x vectors but how do I figure out what’s wrong with them? 

First picture is mine and the second one is from a youtube tutorial. But what’s in the 2nd picture won’t show up on my screen in the first picturem why? 

Has anyone had the problem lately of making design changes, but they aren’t updating in the prototype view? This doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does I need to refresh the prototype tab for the changes to appear. For example I just added a banner to one of my frames and the banner didn’t show up in my prototype until I refreshed the tab. I’ve also noticed it with smaller changes such as adding borders to elements, and the borders don’t appear. If this is a bug it could be affecting viewers of my prototypes too, who won’t always be seeing the latest version and won’t know it. Or there will be missing elements and the prototype will look broken to them. I use the desktop app so haven’t confirmed if this is a problem in the browser as well.

I’ve done all the tutorials in youtube or in Figma community, by deleting Figma folder in localapp or app data, but still can’t login
