I want to design this website trendings on figma platform is it possible..?

I’m trying to build a scrolling tab, sticky sub-navigation similar to Yelp (example attached) that pins to the top of the user’s screen. The key difference is that I need the sub-nav to stay hidden until the user scrolls past a certain point.  

I have been working on some designs using FigmaMake. I love the result. I now want to get the files and code them on my own, rather than relying on FigmaMake code. Is there anyway I can do this please? Also, is there a way for me to export the file to Figma Design? Thank you for your help in advance.

I am facing a bug where Figma does not correctly reference variables in a different collection even when the appropriate modes are set. For context, I have created a simple multi-brand design system with: Primitives collection: storing hex values of colors for each of my company’s brands (yellow and green) Semantic collection: storing references to variables in the primitive collection for the same brands After setting up the primitives collection, when I try and edit the variable for green brand in the semantic collection, the variable ‘picker’ window shows the correct green that should be referenced from primitives, however for some reason this does not apply.  The video demonstrates the issue. I also show correctly applying the mode for the page to be the green brand from primitives when attempting to troubleshoot.  Am I doing this entire thing wrong?

Hi everybody –I’m using VS Code with Claude Code and I’m trying to setup my Access Token. Inside my Figma Settings panel, the token states it was used and appears to be connected, but Claude (via VS Code) is showing a failed connection when using prompt “/mcp” to see the Manage MCP servers readout.On the other hand, my Figma Dev MCP Server, directly from my Project, is showing Connected.I connected the API before I connected the Dev MCP, though – does that make a difference? Do I need to connect the Access Key for additional functionality or will just the Figma Dev MCP do the same thing?UI/UX is my primary field so I’m in the depths of this learning curve for back-end stuffs.Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Is it possible to have a free Figma Design Seat account to edit projects for how many days?As a company, we have several Figma licenses, but we need to share projects with external parties who need to edit these projects. Is it possible for them to edit for free for a few days, or will we have to assign them a Full Seat license?Thanks

Hi everyone,So, I know that a switch is usually meant to have two options. But I need one with three states, like in the image.By default, it should be off, and when you click on one of the sides, it should switch accordingly.Unfortunately, I created it, but I'm having issues — when I click either side, only one part works, and the other one doesn't respond.Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?  

Hi Figma Community! 👋I have a project where the mobile and desktop designs are quite different — not just responsive breakpoints but structurally different layouts.Is it possible in Figma Make to upload both versions in the same project file and get different code generated for each — one for mobile and one for desktop?If yes, how should I set this up in Figma? (e.g., separate frames, naming conventions, tags?)Looking for the best way to manage this within a single Figma file so the code output matches the two different layouts properly.Would appreciate any tips or examples. Has anyone figured out how to use code connect for Astro?

I have placed multiple video files (.mov and .mpeg4) into a Figma slide, and de-actived “autoplay.” When viewing the slide in presentation mode (either standard view or full screen), the videos do not play when clicked. If I skip to the next slide, then return to the slide with the videos, they play as expected. Major bug, not new, must have feature… please fix it.

I have a project with many pages. I need to export these to one pdf document to hand off to the client. Please do not tell me to share a link. I need a single PDF document with all of the pages in it. This seems like a simple request but I can’t find a way to do it. 

Good afternoon! we want to transfer the owner of our figma from a personal account to a technical account, how do we do this?

I am having a lot of issues in creating an app using Figma Make. Seems like everytime it gets something right, it will break it after the next prompt, so I am constantly fixing something and never being able to move forward. It has no persistent memory and it is stateless. I am organizing my prompts through ChatGPT and even so, I can't get where I want to. How are you dealing with that? Any tips appreciated. Cheers!

I want to be able to add the same component to a parent multiple times by pressing a button. One button press = one component added. Similar to adding rows to a data table with a + button. I would also be able to dynamically delete them with a trash icon. It doesn’t have to be infinite, I’d like to have a preset range of components that can be added to the parent.

Hi.I’m a newbie with figma : )I use the starter version.I choosed an object and declared that object via context menu “create component” to a master component.A day later I like to undo that. The object should not be a master component anymore.But in the context menu there’s no option to “detach” the master component.How can I solve that please?Yes I know, that in starter version it is not possible to detach an instanz of component.But I just want to remove the status “master component” from my object.Thanks for your help.

I am currently learning how to use Figma.Here's an exercise I've set myself:A square frame serves as the base for an iOS app icon.Inside the frame, I've created 10 vertical auxiliary line at equal intervals.Now I want to enlarge a vector graphic in this frame so that it takes up the full width between lines 2 and 9.So far, I have been doing this laboriously by hand, making sure that the boundaries of the vector graphic snap to the guides.Is there an easier way? With a single command such as "Expand to maximum width"?Additional question:Is it possible to implement the concept of padding in a frame?Thank you.  

Asking because I noticed it isn’t currently, which means every addition/substraction to my Guidelines.md needs to be managed elsewhere, outside of Figma. 

This is a component I posses, but can’t re-buildHow can I create a component set with a boolean (toggle) that show/hide a certain icon? When I try to create a component set and want to add a boolean from the main set, I don’t know how to connect the boolean to a certain icon inside the variants. And when I want to create a boolean from an icon that is inside a component, Figma only gives the option to create an instance of it. Can that situation be resolved, and how?

Hey there,Right now, I have a lot of PNG images that I need to convert and resize all at once. I don't know the best way to do this because I don't have much experience with scripting or image processing tools.I wish to:I have hundreds (or maybe thousands) of PNG files from a folder. I want to change their format (to JPG or WebP, for example), but also change their size at the same time.I want to keep the aspect ratio, but I also want to set a limit width or height (for example, make all images no wider than 800px).I've read that tools like Python (with PIL or Pillow), ImageMagick, or command-line utilities can help, but I'm not sure how to create the script or command correctly.Can you give me a step-by-step method or a script/command that can resize and convert a lot of PNG photos at once without losing quality or changing the aspect ratio?Thank you!

Hi on the old UI I used to be able to select a layer that wasn’t the frontmost one and press enter to edit it, then I could hold shift and click multiple parts of the shape to edit, now I can’t seem to do that, holding shift makes it select completely different layers if they overlap. Is there a way to do things the way I was able to before the new UI?Tried to demonstrate the current behavior I’m seeing
