For high school and higher education users, once you've been successfully verified, your education status will remain valid for one year.

As for checking the expiration date:

• Team owners will receive a 4-week notice before their education status expires. After expiration, a notification will appear in the app via a modal.

If you're still a student or educator at the end of the year, you’ll need to reapply for education status to continue using Figma for Education.
