In prototype mode, the hover effect (“while hovering”) sticks and does not disappear after hovering over an element. As a result, when hovering over several objects, all hover effects remain on the screen. What is the bug? : worried:
Closing and reopening the prototype helps solve the problem.
But after some time, the bug may appear again.
It looks like some kind of memory problem, in general, prototypes and files take a long time to load and sometimes slow down. It’s very unpleasant to work. In Figma via macOS app
Yep, the same issue
Same issue for me, happens very often
Same issue here. We have a _base button that is set as a component with a ‘while hovering’ micro-interaction to change to the ‘hover’ variant. We then nest this button in a bigger component. When viewing the prototype, the button hover effect remains stuck. We do have the same in other components without issues.
A work around was to set the micro-interaction on the ‘hover’ variant to ‘mouse leave’ and point back to the ‘default’ state.
I am having the same issue. Suddenly my hover state gets stuck on the hover state even after moving my mouse off the component 😦
Same issue, happens all the time
Same here, I like to know when this will be fixed.
Facing the same issue. Any updates on this bug?
I’m also facing the same issue. This is so annoying and confusing user during usability tests.
Enable Interactive Components
This does not help, still having the same issue
+1, quite annoying since the workaround is using two interactions (mouse in, mouse out) instead of one
Any interaction gets stuck “on”… and the bug is random. Sometimes it works, sometimes not… this thread is over a year old… how is this still a bug WTF are we doing?
This is a very annoying bug, just ran into it today. As mentioned earlier the workaround is quite tedious. Please fix!
The fix is to right-click on the open file’s tab and choose reload tab.
Had this problem today. And in the past. This always solves the issue for me.
This is simply horrible.
Still happens to this day, and refreshing/reloading doesn’t fix it.
Thanks for the fix
Reloading the page is not a fix, but a circumvention. For a demo, this is awful, because you have to wait until the page is reloaded.
Still not fixed! This is so annoying.
This keeps happening.
Solve hua ?
You can create a local copy of the component and add a hover interaction to that. This is extra work but reliably works every time.
I have the same issue, any knows how to fix this?
Still having this issue. Thankfully @JonoTRHC’s reload idea helps in the short term for me.
Still having this issue today. Waiting for a fix
