Icon size variable not appearing in other files?

Hi, I created icon size variables in my design library file and applied it to my icons but when I try to change icon sizes in other files, the other variable sizes aren’t appearing for me to select (even though when I published, I untick the box that says “Hide from publishing”).

Not sure what I am doing incorrectly? Thank you for any help!
