I simply drag and drop a component to inside of another component but didn’t work. I can’t add component as a child element to another component.

I take it you are attempting to do this in the master version of the component you are trying to nest a different component into?

I tried on both master and instance.

You should only be able to do this in the master. Make sure you are in the master component and none of the layers are locked. You should be able to drag and drop another component from your assets list easily.
