Education plan and update (Figjam several pages on a board)

Hi there, welcome to the community!
To cover some grounds, can you make sure you have created a team or upgrade one?

You will have to create a team or upgrade one to be able to enjoy the professional futures for free under this plan with the ‘Welcome to the Figma Education plan’ email.

Here are the steps to verify your education status.

Then, create a team.

1. Open Figma in the file browser and click Create new team in the sidebar. Or follow the link: https://www.figma.com/files/create-team
2. Give your team a name and click Create team. You can always change this after the team is created.
3. On the Add team members step, you can invite students, educators and other collaborators to your team.

• Enter email addresses in the fields provided, one email per field. Click Add another to add more fields for collaborators.
• Click Skip for now to invite collaborators after you create your team.

4. Click Continue to move to the next step and select your plan.
5. Select Choose Education plan.
6. Figma will show you how many Figma design and FigJam editors you have. As the Education plan is free for students and educators, the totals will be $0.00. Click Complete upgrade to complete the process and open your new team.

Then, you should be able to use the FigJam feature within the Education plan in that team.

Thank you for your answer. But I don’t think it quite answers my question.

I have an “Education” plan, and with the FigJam files for this plan, there’s no function for creating several pages on one board.

With a “Standard” plan, I can create several pages on a FigJam board. (What’s also confusing is that there are several interface designs, but that’s another problem).

Attached is a screenshot to illustrate my point.

What I would like: to be able to create several pages in the FigJam files of my “Education” plan.

Hey Baptiste, thanks for the clarification!
After checking internally, I have confirmed with the appropriate team that FigJam pages are not currently accessible for Education plan teams. They are currently only accessible for Professional, Organization, and Enterprise plans.

I’d like to investigate it further, can you also please share the URL of the file? (from Starter Plan) You shouldn’t be able to have multiple pages on FigJam. Thank you!

To answer your question: yes, with the free plan I don’t have access to multiple pages, but the icon appears. If I click on the icon, FigJam suggests I switch to a paid plan.

Thank you so much for this question. It is so frustrating! It said the educational account was an enterprise account, so I went through the whole login, educational verification, etc., imported my file, and even uploaded a copy of my syllabus(!!!), only to find out that it is still not possible to access the multipage function that was free on jamboard. FigJam, it would be very nice if this were clear before making people disclose information and create an account.
