I get this message when opening a design file:

I updated my desktop version before, probably modified the file using the new version.
Cleared the cache and restarted.
Any help welcome, this has been the central prototype for my team for > 1y.

Hi @ksn, indeed, the file was accidentally deleted and I did not find it at first. A colleague found it and restored it.

Hey @Hoefer_Felix - sorry for the confusion this is causing. Could you share some details for me? I’d like to see if I can find out what happened.

From the message you are receiving, it looks like you may not be the owner of the file you have this prototype built in. Were you the original creator of this file, or was it shared with you by another person from your team? Does this file have multiple users with edit access?

If you’re not the original owner, it seems likely that whoever does own the file has done some sort of change that has affected who it is shared out to.

Can you provide the name of the file/prototype that you’ve lost access to? You can PM that to me if you’d prefer. I’ll take a look on my end.

Here’s the link to the file. I am (was) the owner of the file, but it was also open for editing by my team. I checked with one of my team members, and he could also not open the file, even though this was possible before.

Hey, @ksn We managed to recover the file. We can close the thread.

Got it - thank you for the update @Hoefer_Felix! If you don’t mind, can you share what you discovered and how this ended up getting resolved? Did it end up getting accidentally trashed, and you were able to restore it?

[No pressure - I’m just wondering so I can pick up some tips for myself if anyone else comes across this 😀 ]
