Multiple-Cursor feature to override multiple text fields

Oscar

Problem
Figma has no option to override multiple text fields at once

Possible solution
A Multiple Cursor feature like the one found on coding editors.
You could select all the text fields you want to edit with shift + click and then hit Enter and this could enable the user the change the value of the selected text fields, without affecting their text styles.

Before any of this happens, I’d like to introduce you to Add numbers to texts

This helps a lot 🙂

Instead of multiple cursors that can be confusing, I think it’s necessary that users could link text layers together, so if any of them changed all of the linked text layers should update.

Would triple ❤️ multi cursor support in Figma. Hold Option to insert cursors.

This would be a great time saver when working with content/text/copy from a website where random elements get pasted and then have to be manually deleted one at a time.
