Just like I can use Markdown to edit this forum post I would ❤️ to have it available when entering and typesetting text in Sticky notes and Text jam objects (jam things?)
I see that there’s Bold, Strike-through, Links, Heading levels 1-3.
It would save me a lot of clicking on the menus as a keyboard-only user 🙂 ⌨️
We are using FigJam to map out high-level ideas for software engineering and we’d love to have markdown/code syntax support to place code snippets 👍
Native markdown support would be great in Figjam – especially for outlining topics and ideating on component interfaces.
I am imaging something that looks and works a lot like the “code block” feature in Figjam, but can switch between the raw markdown and the rendered output.
The Day One journaling app is a great example of a very useful markdown editor.
Copying and pasting from ChatGPT or Notion into a FigJam whiteboard results in the loss of all styles and headings.
I wish it retained the markdown formatting from the other apps.
