I’m encountering an issue where I’m unable to access the design panel in older files to grab components for copying and pasting into new files. When I revisit these older files, the design panel seems to be unavailable, limiting my actions to only commenting, reviewing properties, or exporting components/screens.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or found a solution?

Can you check if you still have can edit access? (If not, you may ask to the owner of the file to give you access). I’d recommend you to reach out directly to the support with a copy of your file here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new They can investigate about your permissions rights.
