It would be very useful to be able to move a group of variables to another collection as I want them to have different mode names or no modes at all just for that group

Hey there! Thank you for your feedback. It’s not currently possible to move a variable from one collection to another, so you would need to recreate the variable in the other collection.
I’ve merged your feature request with a similar one.
