Right now you’re forced to see either the Layers panel OR the Assets pane. Instead of constantly going back and forth between Layers and Assets, let me have both panes open at the same time. Please! 🙂 -
Add as much context as possible (screenshots, Figma files, mockups, etc.)
Keyboard shortcuts for switching between these two panes is definitely helpful, but it would be a huge speed improvement to have both open at the same time. -
Ask questions to bring the community into the conversation
I’m surprised I haven’t seen any similar requests! But when working with shared libraries and thousands of components, having both panels open at the same time would really improve my experience.
Allow Assets panel to be opened at same time as Layers
Big agree here. A way to split that left panel vertically (similar to older Adxxx products) would be really helpful, considering how much info can be gleamed from the layers panel.

+1 I can still work without it and I don’t see the need to make it the default. But it would be great if this was possible. Working with design systems would become way faster.
I was also thinking if quick search could access components or there could be a shortcut to open a search dialogue ( either from keyboard shortcuts or the right click menu) at your cursor to increase efficiency.
