I’ve run into this with multiple fonts. For some fonts, the Regular weight just refuses to load even though it’s installed on my hard drive and it should be available as a Google font in figma.

Has anyone seen this before? How do I solve this bug it’s really disrupting my workflow?
I’m having the same problem with ‘Work Sans’. None of the weights will load for some reason. It does have a ‘variable font weight’, meaning its only 1 file to install, which will then give you all font weights you could wish for. This works in Sketch but perhaps variable weight fonts are not supported by Figma right now?
Yes, variable fonts are not supported by Figma. You need to install static fonts.

Tuve el mismo problema con la font Montserat, la solución esta en instalar la familia de fuentes en el mismo disco duro de tu sistema (windows o mac) y no trabajar con las que vienen por defecto en google font (figma) cierras el programa vuelves a abrir y listo!!! suerte amigos
