Embed Component Playground in Confluence doc

Alex1

I have been documenting our design system best practice in Confluence. I would like to embed the Component Playground into the doc. This would allow people to preview the ui within the doc.

Hi @Alex1, Thanks for sharing your thoughts about embedding content!

It sounds like you might be trying to add a Figma file link to your Confluence document.
If that’s the case, I recommend checking out this helpful guide that provides step-by-step instructions: Confluence and Figma

If I’m misunderstanding and your feedback is about something else, could you please provide a bit more detail about what you’re referring to?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Thanks,

I think what Alex is asking is the ability to embed an iframe that contains the component playground features. In a similar way that we can “get embed code” from the prototyping window.

The ability to be able to share dev playground in confluence, or any web page would be a fantastic enhancement.

+1 to this. component playground embedding would be useful. I can think of good use cases in confluence, jira and storybook.

Alternatively, allowing sharing a direct link to a component playground, not unlike how you can share Storybook links such as this. The job to be done is to spare devs the drudgery of schlepping through Figma’s UI just so they can see how a component was designed to work.
