Not yet Ophelie, I´m triying to find a way to make something similar to the actions on Photoshop to automate the quick actions named above and automate the temoporary fix.
I had the same problem. I fixed it by:
- Removing the fontAwesome .woff and .ttf from the font book.
- Install the “Desktop fonts” instead. So the .otf
- Reboot Figma
I hope it helps. It was very frustrating for me tbh, I was the only one having this problem in my team.
I am using MAC btw.
Success!
This fixed it for me just now. I’m on mac. I uninstalled all fonawesome fonts and the re-installed otf fonts from the desktop fonts. REstarted Figma. I had to click on all representations in the design to get it to switch back to displaying the FA icons. No I hope it stays all right!
I’m having this issue right now… I did what Brian mentioned before, but it didn’t solve yet…
Obs: I installed Font awesome 5 and then 6… tried to unninstal them, but the problem remained… I think the problem was because I installed Font awesome 6, because at my laptop, I didn’t install neither Font awesome 5 and 6, but there’s no problem viewing the fonts - this is very strange for me: to proper view Font Awesome in Figma, it’s not necessary to install them locally???
