Question

The prototype doesn't work as expected :(

I am new using Figma and I’m trying to make my first app prototype. I have already connected the pages with their corresponding links and when testing the prototype through the mobile the links work but something happens that I do not quite understand: when you click anywhere on the screen (especially happens in the corners), whatever the page is, despite not having placed a link there you are redirected to a random page. Is this happening to anyone? Is it a Figma configuration that I have to adjust? It’s like clicking on the corners makes you go to the next slide, like in Instagram stories. But why?

It would help me a lot to fix this, because I have to test the prototype with real users and this error can harm the results of the research.

Hey @Gissela, thanks for reaching out and sorry for the confusion and frustration!

This is a feature of the mobile app to make it easier to navigate between frames when there are not prototype flows applied.

There’s currently no way to disable this feature at this time, but we’ve already passed this feedback onto our mobile team, and you can vote for this capability here:

As a workaround, you can try creating a Flow. Select your starting frame, then on the Prototype panel click + on the Flow starting point. This should allow you to proceed through your entire flow as intended on mobile.
