Hi, gorgeous apes. I have a question: I want to create multiple expand and collapse components, and I need the content is different from each other. But I want to create only 1 master component. is there any possible way to do it. This is the screenshot. Please give me your advice
Hi there! Welcome to the community.
When you create your main component , the duplicate one is a copy of the main component you can reuse in your designs – also called an “instance”. (You can check this article to cover some basics about component and instances). So when you duplicate that main component (= instance), any changes you make to the main component will be applied to that instance.
As a workaround, when you duplicate the main component, you can detach the instance ( it will be then detached from the main component), then create it as a new component so you that you can make changes to this new component.
Here are the steps:
- Select the Instance you wish to detach.
- Click on the Instance menu in the Properties Panel.
- Select Detach Instance from the menu.
