Select interaction type without leaving the canvas

When creating prototypes (which I do all day) I spend a lot of time setting interaction types. Currently, after you’ve connected a blue noodle to its destination frame, you need to travel to the little menu then, for instance, switch from Navigate to Open overlay.

Any way we could do that selection without leaving the canvas – for instance, with specific shortcuts that would be available only when you’re dragging a noodle. I can imagine myself doing this, just for example: Start to drag a noodle; as I drag, hold or press O to make an Open overlay noodle), connect to the target frame, and I get an Open overlay noodle.

Mouse travel from canvas and back to canvas end up being costly and distracting…
