Now that we can add multiple actions to a prototype interaction (i.e. I click this and x,y,z happen), it would nice to be able to reorder those actions. As Dylan Field mentioned in the Config Keynote, the order determines how these actions are executed. Once you have actions x,y, and z, it would be nice to be able to drag and drop them to rearrange them to y,x,z for example.
I’m surprised no one has suggested this yet, I searched for an existing request but couldn’t find one.
Nevermind. After playing around with it a bit more, it looks like this is already possible! It’s just not very obvious that it’s possible from the UI.
I was thinking there was no way Figma would leave out something so useful like that. They didn’t, they just didn’t make it very discoverable. But they were probably just trying to prevent the interaction UI from getting too busy and complicated.
Hey @Matthew_Chandler_Prina yup this is possible by clicking the chevron to collapse the interaction and the by clicking and dragging to reorder. Sharing a screen recording here in case others find it useful.
I think this is a design bug. If Figma added the grabbable class to the relevant elements, that would clue the interaction by turning the mouse cursor into a grab hand on hover.
