Passing comments from master to branch and back again

Hi there Figma team. We’re starting to look at having Figma as the platform that handles sign off and being the ‘source of truth’. An issue that is cropping up is that comments don’t pass from branches to master and design/business decisions are not being documented in Figma (They are, but are being lost). Is there a way to keep these comments (not including going back in the history) up-to-date (i.e. passing comments from master to branch and then back again) or is there thought around creating some kind of documenting feature? Cheers.

A similar thread was closed with no resolution. This is a big pain point, Figma. People comment and being able to address those comments in a branch would be super useful. Otherwise you have to juggle the original and the branch.
