Would be nice if the frames or groups can be resized to the width and height of the content with one click instead of us dragging to the size of the content.

You can use the “Resize to fit” to adjust the frame to the size of the layers within it.
It doesn’t work on Groups, only in Frames.
Groups always automatically hug all nested layers.
