"Navigate to" does not work for a frame in non-default variant

I am a beginner in Figma. I connected a frame in a non-default variant in main component to another frame using “navigate to” interaction as shown below.

When I run the prototype, the navigation does not work on clicking.

Any idea what might be going wrong here?
