Today when I logged in, all my drafts (which were not part of a “team”) went to a “move to” folder, there were 99+ files. However, after trying to get out of that situation and not understanding anything, my drafts simply disappeared and only those that were linked to a team remained.
I thought I could have accidentally deleted all the files, but it’s not even possible to delete files in bulk, right? And even if I had deleted them, they should be in the “deleted” folder, but they aren’t and they aren’t anywhere. I don’t know what to do anymore! Can someone help me?

This is part of a very small roll out to validate some of the changes we’re bringing to Figma to improve the experience inside the file browser (which can sometimes be confusing), especially with drafts. Part of this change is giving each team its own draft space, rather than one that floats across all teams.
You should be able to see all of your existing drafts in the “Drafts to move” section. You should still be able to open those files and continue editing them there, or move them into a team (even a free starter team).
Can you let us know if you can see this area in your file browser (it should be right under “Recents”).

Yes! Now I remembered that an item with “Drafts to move” appeared in the sidebar, something like that. I clicked and accessed it, there were two tabs, one with many files and all very relevant to me, the other with only around 10 files and useless in my day-to-day life.
In that tab, I clicked to delete the files, to free up some of my storage, since specifically these were all useless files. However, from then on, at least 90% of my drafts disappeared. But it wasn’t my intention, I just wanted to delete those 10 drafts that were specifically in that tab.
I clicked on the “deleted” tab in drafts and my drafts aren’t there either. Help! Is there anything I can do? I really need the files for work, some were files shared with clients and most of them were still in progress and in the process of being finalized.

Yes. Happened with me too. But it’s a bit different for me. I have the same account logged in from 2 devices but in one device showed “Drafts to move” and so I sorted them and created and moved them to projects. But today on the 2nd device I coudn’t see the the drafts in all the projects. It’s so confusing. Would love some help and guidance on this!
Hmm, if you’re logged in on the same account, they should just mirror each other. Curious if you still see this issue even after refreshing?

Same for me. I can’t find them anywhere. I’ve tried to find them in deleted files, in the browser, and nothing. The support email doesn’t work for my plan and i don’t know what to do!

Did you ever see the Drafts to move option? It should be right under your Recents.
If not, what type of plan do you have?
No i didnt, I have the starter plan (the free version / i have never paid for it,
I joined Figma when i was a student, the simple yet best interface got me hooked, would spend hrs making designs. I opened it after a long time and all my drafts are gone.
