Question

Menu item unselects previous item when other item is selected

Hey!

I built a menu component with text components inside for the menu items. They have active and inactive states. I was wondering if it is possible to set things up so that when I set one menu item to active while working on the designs, that the other menu item is automatically set to inactive. Is that possible? Thanks in advance!

Hi Patricia! The advanced prototyping features may help you, as your prototypes increase in depth and complexity, you can use multiple actions and conditionals to handle multiple or different outcomes within the same interaction (here, setting active and inactive states).
You can find more information on how use Prototype with multiple interactions here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/15253220891799-Multiple-actions-and-conditionals Hope it helps!
