I’m having issue with text alignment. I have created a component with text that is within an auto layout. The text itself is left-aligned and the auto layout is aligned to the top left. However when using the component and editing the text it fills from the centre.

Without seeing how your constraints and layers are set up, there can be millions of reasons why it would work this way.
I’ve noticed the issue happens once I make it a component. Before doing so, the text within the auto layout stays left aligned.

Set constraints to Left.
