Isolation mode

Hi everyone :slightly_smiling_face:,

I was wondering if I was the only one asking for an isolation mode (as we found on Illustrator).

The outline is very useful but unusable when you have several layers, it can be difficult to select the right layer and work on this one directly. Plus, I have a problem with the auto layout cause sometimes, elements are merging if I switch a component variant. It can be a solution for this problem too.

Anyway,
So a feature that isolate only 1 element, allowing us to work on this, without touching the other layers, secured.

Is something already exist in Figma ? Even a plugin ?

I think this would be helpful also for selecting object with same properties, fill, store etc
Because sometimes I don’t want to consider the whole document, isolation mode would help with that… :ok_hand:t3:
