Hello, community. I have a frame with multiple layers. If I select a layer somewhere halfway down the stack of layers and then start to draw a shape, the shape is created on a new layer as the first child of the frame. I am expecting a new layer to be created above the currently selected layer and this is the behaviour when using the text tool.

Am I missing something - a modifier key?

Thanks in advance

I found a solution to that! When drawing a rectangle, instead of dragging to draw, just click and the new layer will appear above the selected layer
