How do I pull up the side menu for options on an item

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing the video. I think you mean right click menu on the item, so could you try right click?
You can also set Ctrl+click to open the right click menu by setting: Figma > Preferences > Ctrl+click Opens Right Click Menus. I attached a screenshot.
