Graphical error bug

I’ve spotted a couple of bugs with dropshadows.

The objects underneath here are just text elements using a variable iconfont, Material Symbols Outlined:

And here there’s no element underneath the dropshadow:

The last update to Figma broke drop shadows in my files as well.

I’m having quite the same issue here.

In all my documents, I’m having the same bug, everything under the shadow objects are super weird.

But I realized how to fix it, apparently, it’s not on the shadow or the blur effects, but it’s on the Stroke, yes I just changed the stroke from “Outside” to “Center” and problem solved.

But it’s quite a pain in the ass because I have these effects applied all over my files and it’s gonna be a big taste just to go back and fix one by one.

I already raised the issue to Figma support, so let’s say what they say about it.

When I zoom in on my artboard, variable iconfonts (Material Symbols Outlined) look scrambled:

Things go even more crazy when the element is moved around

+1 on this - this is really annoying and I hope it gets fixed asap. Is there a way to escalate the issue? This is definitely a major glitch!

Seeing this as well with broken shadows on absolute positioned components…

This applies to both regular and style shadows
