Figma not supporting inporting PDFs

I would love if Figma would support importing PDFs. I realize they’re a file format that for whatever reason is difficult to import. However, even being able to convert the PDF to pngs or flattening the text would be better than nothing. Of course, keeping the text live would be great too. Honestly, if I could import PDFs as PNGs and then also get the text extracted as a separate file, that would be most of what I need Figma to do. Just a though, I realize this is probably an edge use-case, but still!
