New Figma user, I’m building a design system.
I sometimes get ready-made components (i.e. on Figma community, for example, components with ready-made variants).
I’d like to take some of these components and paste them into my personal design system file, but the problem is that they sometimes take me back to the source file (when I want to modify the icon, for example).
How can I retrieve components from file A and paste them back into file B without there being any link with file A?
I currently select the layers, copy/paste them and recreate a component from these layers, but there must be a simpler way that I don’t know of yet!
