When I am copying the properties of a text field and the colour of the text field is a design token, then when I paste the properties in another text, the design token is ignored and only hex code is pasted which completely voids the purpose of copy pasting properties.
Is there a way to solve this problem?
I am able to reproduce this. You should report it as a bug.

Our engineers have released an update which allows for color variables to be copy/pasted as properties now. Please refresh Figma to ensure that you are using the fixed version.
