Communication between objects nested in different/separate auto layouts

Currently i am trying to solve a problem that would make great use of an ability of two objects nested in two different auto layouts to mirror each others resizing behaviour. first one resizes, the second does the same and vice versa, text inside them isnt mirrored, although it decides when its parent object resizes (then the other object mirrors the resizing, but not the text) - to be specific, the two objects im speaking of are table cells.

Other types of communication that transcend auto layouts (that i cant think of right now) could be very useful, im sure.

Im hoping maybe someone could say if i can dream to have this in the (near) future. An elegant workaround could be gold, too.
