Bug on Figma Prototype

I have been designing a Figma file since early November.

For two weeks now I have been experiencing a very frustrating bug on that file.
Each time I prototype something new, it sets all previous prototypes in the file to Smart Animate, Ease Out, and a Duration of 300ms.
300ms!!!. It makes the entire prototype lag.

I have restored previous versions multiple times and duplicated the file. It’s still the same.

Hi @Raymond_M, thanks for reaching out! This sounds like an odd behaviour. Just to clarify, are you saying that each time you create a new prototype connection, your previous connections are automatically changing to Smart Animate, Ease Out, with a duration of 300ms?

Does this happen in both the browser and desktop app, or just one?
Is it specific to this file, or are you seeing it across all your files?

If you haven’t already, try clearing your cache and ensure you’re running the latest version of Figma (both in the desktop app and browser).

Please let me know if clearing the cache resolves the issue, happy to help further!

It happens on the desktop app. I’ll try these suggestions and give an update.
