I am working with designs that have some sections marked as “Ready for dev”. However this flag is missing when I get the file details via the REST API.
Is this a known issue or am I holding it wrong?

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. However there is no devStatus property for the section that is marked as ‘Ready for dev’ in the resulting json. I am using the GET/v1/files/:key API endpoint.
Is there something else I should do to enable it?
It should look like this, but maybe there’s a bug for your particular section.
I think the best way forward here is for you to file a support ticket, provide the link to the file (or a minimal file with a section that has this issue), add the support-share@figma.com account so we can access the file, and then we can take a look.
